this is my first TD year having caught up on LOST in the summer. Dont you get a season long thread going? or is it episode by episode?

Usually we do episode by episode. I tried getting a sticky last season that linked all the episodes so we could check theories, but was denied.

A Lost season long thread would be as confusing as the show is.
Episode by Episode is the way to go.
I have to work tonight, so I won't get to watch until late tomorrow night.
You guys will probably have a 20 pager going by that point. It'll take me a while to catch up.

Well it has been said for a long time that we'll see a lot of old faces. I'd assume an episode titled LAX would include those.

Do you think you should rename the thread LOST Season 6 premiere, because lets face it, the title is spoilertastic, more so than any other episode title.
