What scheme is LSU going to run next year?

In 09, LSU lacked any kind of offensive identity. The defense gave up yards, but not points. If LSU continues the bend but dont break scheme on defense, the offense has to change.
First, LSU has to be a running team. We're going to have Ware and Gore joing Murphy, Ridley, and Ford not to mention Shepard being the wild card. With a good running game this will keep the offense ON the field and give the defense a rest. The passing game will be less relied on with Tolliver and Randle being the only two WRs we have that have experience.
But the key will be Jefferson, he is the right QB for a run first, play action type offense, not an insane offense that runs option plays that don't work.
If LSU looks to establish an offensive identity by being a running team, I think we'll be fine. But my confidence in Crowton isn't there.
What do you think??

A million different looks and formations yet we somehow will still telegraph who is getting the ball to the point where fans know what's coming next.

90,000 people agree with you about the need for power running.
also, re the poster who points out that everyone can figure out the play by the formation.

Get used to seeing the Crowton way until he is gone. It will be same type of offense even with Gonzales and Wilson helping him. I guess all we can do is wait till next year..

As long as they quit running that stupid option play that never works we should improve.

1st down - false start. option to short side of field.
2nd down - jefferson drop back pass, sack. jefferson looks to sideline with that confused stare on his face.
3rd down - delay of game. run up the middle for no gain. miles looks up at the score board with tongue hanging out of mouth. clock is ticking...another delay of game.
4th down - punt

we have so many formations, but only run one play out of said formation.
pretty easy for a defense to figure out.

Every time I see them lined up in that pistol formation at the LOS, I can already see the 4 yard loss before the ball is even snapped.

if the play calls for motion, wherever the guy in motion is going to, that's where LSU will run the ball to.

I'm guessing something closely resembling a Ponzi.

out of all the schools that effectively run the ball you choose to name Bama. typical. go jump back on Saban's cock.

Raising concession prices by 25% to self fund Miles' buyout that will go into effect after the 2010 season.

Want-2 offense/defense, pretty complex.
