i swear if jj were white he'd be loved by all for taking a beating from our inability to block anybody all year. he would be touted as having so much heart and character, since in most games, he was our only offense at all. you dumbasses that sit there and say jj didnt improve or that he isn't good, sound like idiots. jj had only 9 more sacks than flynn. damn give a qb a line and a running game, then if he fails, start calling him out.

THIS IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE!!! Majority would mean 50+% since many on here have blasted your stupid azz self for this post, you ned to shut up and stop defending yourself. Are you a human or a crawfish? I say the latter since all you have done is put up your claws and walk backwards. Just like someone who talks big but has no arse to back it up. You should only hope to have the character that lee has.

I've always liked Lee. He is tough and doesn't pass blame for anything. He wasn't ready to start when he was thrown in there and he made the same kind of mistakes that unprepared quarterbacks make.

Really, Lee's story should be a cautionary tale to those high school kids who want to start somewhere right away. It really is a rare kid who can start right away and not suffer for it. Had Lee had another year to learn the system, he would have had a better time of it. Now that he's had a year of watching the game and seeing the system, I wouldn't hesitate to give him the ball.

Don't bring your bullshite in here. Jefferson has tremendous support. I have seen much more criticism levied against Crowton than Jefferson for the offensive production this year. Jefferson is also still developing. Don't come here and inject some kind of "race victim" bullshite. It simply isn't true.

The thread was started as a positive statement to JL's character which you quickly turned into a negative one with your "foolish" comment.

Why would any LSU fan, if that's what they are, refer an LSU player "foolish" for NOT leaving an LSU team?

CAJUN LSU MAN now joins LSUSUPERSTAR as #1 asses on this board.

It always ends up with the race card being played. You sir, are an idiot.

And, any fan who can "hate" a kid showing such MANhood at such an age really show their immaturity. I can only hope that when my son is older, he knows as much about being a MAN as this kid.

Well said. Education is clearly his top priority. Lot of morons post on this board.

Kudos to J. Lee!

Excellent choice and example for kids everywhere. Stay and fight, stop running. Lee has his priorities straight and I for one am glad to see him back.

To you pussies bringing up the race card to justify your own hatred, go to hell. Weak minds breed weak arguments.

i'm sorry if i called it like it looks on this board. if jj were a white kid, he would be commended for leading our team to 9 wins with no help. he would be the talk of the town and how we have a decent qb finally coming back. people on here think he is ignorant and stupid. i've seen him called both on here. so yeah i said it. if he were white he be touted as having more heart than anybody.its true. not to all fans but a lot of them

Any QB leading an anemic offense like LSU had would be questioned. There will always be a handful of racists, but the majority of criticism is fair

yeah, but lets go ahead and make it about race. Sure. what the hell.

So, you believe it was solely because he was not white, and had nothing to do with non production?

I disagree completely. I would say the majority of LSU fans want the team to succeed and play well. They majority of fans wish the student athletes at LSU well and hope they are able to finish school and earn their degree.

Bottom line is neither Jarrett Lee or Jordan Jefferson has seperated themselves from each other at the quarterback position. They should be in an open competition along with the other quarterbacks on the roster to find who can help our football team succeed.

Thats all fans want, win or lose, a good solid product on the field.

Jarrett Lee has shown a lot of class or character and I wish him the best. Jarrett Lee will be a winner in life due to the toughness and character he has shown at LSU.

He has earned most LSU's fans respect.

Lee is a tough dude mentally, most guys would've cracked by now. He's always handled success or failure with class.

He also could be one play away from being the QB, depending on how Garrett develops.
