I agree with everything he said. In fact McGwire's half arse admission meade me lose even more respect for him.

Just once I'd like to see a player admit using steroids without any BS qualifier.

Actually his numbers are pretty good. Even so, a mediocre player cannot criticize a cheat.

Mcgwire is a piece of shite liar and needs to be exposed as a fraud.

Why not? The mediocre players are the ones that should be criticizing the cheats. Who's to say that the cheaters wouldn't be mediocre if they didn't use drugs

Oh an FWIW, just because someone isn't in the hall of fame, it doesn't mean they're mediocre. Anyone that has 4 all star appearances (Jack Clark) and those kind of numbers is considered damn good in my book.

If you watched any baseball in the 80s, you'd realize he did put up some pretty good numbers.

Jack Clark played in Busch when it was one of the hardest places to go yard in at the time. He was the power of that team. The Cards were stealing bases and causing so much havoc all he had to do was get in play. Clark's shot off Neidenfuhr is probably one of the most amazing homers i have seen, other than Ozzies line drive shot in St. Louis when Buck used the "Go crazy folks, Go crazy".

Had a chance to chat with Durwood Merrill, AL ump from this area (now deceased). He only got to ump Clark for 3 years when Jack was in the AL and of course, exhibition games. He said Clark's bat hitting a fastball made a different sound than any other hitter he'd ever worked behind. It was like an explosion.

Sorry, I forgot my question mark. It should have read:

Even so, a mediocre player cannot criticize a cheat?
