I will be helping a friend at the boat show this weekend and we were wondering the best place to grab dinner. We will be there tonight through Sunday. So a few good southern restaurants would be great!! Thanks OT.

Cristiano's and Cafe' Malano's are upscale type places but they are very good

Big Al's, 1921, and Daves Cajun Kitchen all have very good seafood.

Mr. Ronnies may have the best donuts ever. Great for breakfast or when drunk at 2:30 in the morning.

On MLK blvd you will find all of your chain resturants

I've never been to his restaurant, but Cristiano is a really genuine guy. Straight from Italy, I'm sure his place is good!

The Jolly Inn down the street from the Civic Center on Barrow street has live Cajun music and so does Bayou Delight off of Bayou Black on the way to Gibson. Bayou Delight has better food but only has the music on Friday and Saturday nights.

I hear that Mike's off of Martin Luther King Blvd has some pretty good steaks if you're looking for that.
