All you Les haters better wake up and smell the coffee. Character in a coach has become a hard to find commodity! Of course ya'll probably wish Les had no character, and would leave.

i agree.
as a retired secondary teacher and i wouldn't have given rp as many chances. with rp we would have sucked big time. the other young men would have revolted and lsu football would have really sunk.

its not going to spin much. UT hiring MIke Leach won't create much of trickle down

I wouldn't bank on this. What about Muschamp?
And if the Cowboys lose this weekend, perhaps they need a new head coach as well. So who goes to the pros, who goes to UT......I think it will definitly spin.

I agree. Like any other fan, I'm unhappy about the way things panned out on the field this year, but I still appreciate Les Miles.
In the wake of all the Miles bashing, I think it's important to remember how much we all loved seeing him in the stands cheering the baseball team on in Omaha during the CWS. How many coaches would do that?
Sure, there are things about his coaching that make you shake your head now and then. But he's a class act, and he's been at the helm for 5 of the most successful years in LSU football history.
The nega-Tigers need to calm down and get some perspective.

Someone has to want you in order for you to leave. Les isn't a high a commodity as he was 2-3 years ago. Losing 9 games and constantly having your management under question will do that to you.
