CFB OT > NFL OT
It's 10x more exciting.
It's 10x more exciting.

The Saints would like to know who their opponent is this week.

NFL should have same rules as college for OT but start on the 50 rather than the 25 yard line

that's a damn good idea.

I like the sudden-death aspect, but I think that they should implement a rule in which each team gets at least one possesion

Coin toss should decide the game
I mean they should just toss the coin and whoever wins that should win the game.

The damn good idea is that it shouldnt be Sudden Death until each team has a possession IMO

But 100x less realistic. You can't just cut out an entire factor of the game in field position, punting, coverage, etc.
What I don't understand is why they can't just make an additional quarter and play it through to the end like every other sport on the planet. I know they're worried about games lasting too long so make it 10 or 8 minutes, whatever.
Just don't make it college because it's retartedly unrealistic and don't make it sudden death because it's equally ridiculous.

Agree. Joe Buck mocking the college OT is irony indeed.

I think Arena has the best overtime. Both teams get a full possession, kickoff included. If after both teams have touched the ball it's still tied, then it goes to sudden death.

make an additional quarter
This is the correct answer. The excitement level would be ramped up to un-takable levels.
