please support the coaches. Yeah, 8-5 and 9-4 are not acceptable when you've had sec champs and national titles but Miles is the coach of LSU and I will support this team whoever the coach is. Crowton is the offensive coord and I will support Crowton. Now, Miles and Crowton are being paid too fix the problems. FIX THEM!

As far as the recruits, thanks for the loyalty to your state school - glad to have you even though fans can't seem to let these guys do their jobs!

I'm as excited as the next guy, but we've had good recruiting classes in the past. Granted this one will be epic, but I'm going to wait and see what they do on the field next year. I would hate to lose this class due to pour on the field performance next year.

You are asking near-retarded people and lead-based- paint-chip-eaters to squash their egos and act like adults for the greater good of the program ?

Let me know how that goes for you.

You wont see the 2011 recruiting class on the field till around the year 2014 probably. See Shep and Randle this year..

If these kids are coming to LSU with Les being a big reason why, Miles is buying himself another 8-9 win season next year without being fired.

I know I won't see them for a while, but I'm saying being all excited about recruiting is a blinder. You have to see it play out on the field. Just because they have a great class going for next year doesn't mean all is right. I'll root hard for the tigers, but the coaches still have to fix things on the field.

Yeah I don't disagree with you. I have a very very bitter taste in my mouth about this coaching staff after some of the stuff this season. I think this recruiting class will buy Miles another year of 8 win football with idiotic coaching moves just to keep this class in tact.

Let me just add that I think keeping Miles around for one more year after another 8 win season will be the right thing to do if it means losing out on some of these recruits.

There is a risk of the class falling apart with coaching turnovers. It's a consideration.

I support LSU fully.

I support America too. Does that mean I have to support my representatives and the administration? What are your rules again?

Most could live with 9-4 if those losses were respectable like the Florida/Bama games. When you lose because you have a retard fricking your team over with horrible clock management, it's not acceptbale. If LSU was 11-2 this year with those 2 losses being in the same fashion as the Ole Miss and Penn State games people would still want them fired.

Getting big in state guys doesn't always mean it has anything to do with Miles. Some of these guys just love LSU and if they fire Les and make a good hire to replace him, I'd venture to say most would stay on board if not all.

Why would you reward a guy for that assuming he just gave a third mediocre season in a row?

I think its more important to keep certain position coaches (Wilson) moreso than Miles.

I'll be just as excited next year when the season rolls around...but I'll also be equally dissapointed if we continue to have an inept defense (08) or inept offense (09).

Were you alive in the early 90s or late 80s.....locking down the state isnt as easy as some believe. Say what you want about Miles but recruiting (and hiring Wilson) are top notch and what they are doing with 2011 class so far is amazing.

First, I was very much alive and involved with LSU in those days. Secondly, Miles isn't a great recruiter that could go to some small school and bring in top tier talent. He's a pretty good recruiter and looks better because he's recruiting for LSU.

Why the hell did you ignore the part of my statement where I clearly said it will not be an issue if LSU makes a good hire to replace him? We also had Curley Hallman (who cared to recruit Texas more) and Archer as coahces prior to DiNardo. We lost less top talent under DiNardo than we have under Miles from in state.
