If LSU has chosen to keep Miles for not 1 but 2 more years...and Miles has chosen to keep Crowton for at least next year... I'm sorry but I am done. I cant watch another season of bad play calling, no discipline and soft attitude while Saban and Florida separate even further from us.
I am f'ing pissed !!! We have spent all this time and money building this program to elite status...I just can't watch it continue to crumble. It breaks my heart. Its physically painful and sickening to watch. Flame away...

I completely agree that is what is occurring. I'll still be a huge fan; I'm an LSU alum and Louisiana native so there is no changing that.
We'll see how shite plays out in a year or two. It will be painful though.

It breaks my heart too and I agree that it will get worse before it gets better but I will not stop watching and attending games as painful as it may get.

See ya fence stradler ! Head over to the Bama board.

I can't stop supporting the team ever, but yes, it is frustrating to see the empire falling...it was inevitable. You can't win 'em all.

Please do. You embody the trash that doesn't deserve to call themselves a fan of any team, much less LSU.
Eat shite and die, please.

This was a disappointing season. But I think you are overreacting.
As fans we all see the flaws on our own team and have a greener grass syndrome about others. Take Bama for instance. They had a 14-0 perfect season. And yet they had flaws. Their offense wasn't even in the top 40 and at times was downright horrible (worse than ours). They were very lucky to win a number of games this year (Tenn, LSU, even South Carolina).
Staying with the Champs, take Saban. We all see Miles' mistakes. How about that first quarter Thursday night. Alabama was not as prepared and/or did not handle the pressure of the game as well as Texas. That falls on Saban. The fake punt on your own 20 that early in the game? Can you IMAGINE what would be said on this site if Miles had done it? The special teams letting a kickoff sit on the ground? Who's coaching this team? How about the decision in the third quarter to go ultra-conservative on offense with nothing but straight dive plays and just two pass attempts (neither more than 5 yards down field)? Bama had Texas on the ropes and let them back in it.
Saban is a great coach. No one, I mean, no one, has the art of the blitz down better than he does. But he makes mistakes all of the time. Or rather, he makes decisions that don't work out and therefore are mistakes.
Nevertheless, they never lost and are champs. Our mistakes cost us dearly and so we end ranked 17th.
What goes around comes around and I really am optimistic about 2010. A couple of nice wins will bring back the warm feelings of 2007 when Les was Lesticles (even though I despised that term). And we WILL be in it for the SEC title. Just take a deep breath, relax and wait for next September.

Nothing for you to be sorry bout as we all have to do what we have to do.
I'll hang with the team and hope the improved SEC ranking and national rankings from 08 show we are on the way back, but I can't see the future as some seem to be able to do.

Good!!! Good!!! Hit the fricking bricks and don't look back. We need alot less people like you around and associated with this program.
Through the good and bad, win or lose, you are an LSU fan and part of Tiger nation OR you're not. Don't try crawling back on the bandwagon when things turn around, cause I'll be there waiting to kick you off of it...
Good riddance and Good Bye!!!

I am assuming that you are letting your season tickets go, won't contribute to TAF anymore and are having a yard sale for all your LSU tailgating stuff.
Good bye. You won't be missed.

BTW, if we wind up 11-1 next year and in a BCS bowl, then I trust that you will stick by the beliefs you've laid out here today.
