This would this be the only gig that has the pull to get him...He could be the first coach in history to win 3 NCG at 3 schools and they would pay more than bama...
Any thoughts you guys?

I don't think anybody on here knows what Saban would do....hell I want to say why in the hell would he go to USC....but with his arrogance and a-hole-ish attitude he would fit in well so maybe he would go....bottom line I don't have a clue.

Saban wont make that mistake twice

dont think he is done in the NFL. His ego wont let him be considered a failure.

I don't think Saban goes anywhere. He will never get his ego stroked more than what Alabama will do for him. His godlike status at Bama and the opportunity to overshadow Bear Bryant feeds his enormous ego like nothing else ever could.

Saban wont make that mistake twice
Twice?!? When was the first? Or maybe more accurately *only* twice?

right since the Sabans hated the big city of Miami I'm sure they'll fricking love LA...idiot
Saban is right where he wants to be. In a smaller college town coaching the best team in the nation.

No...he is at the USC of the south right now. I think if he leaves us and continues to coach it will be for an NFL job.

Saban will lead Bama to another NC next year, and then make another trip to the NFL.

Howard Jones won MNCs at Yale, Iowa and Southern Cal. Actually, he won multiple MNCs at Yale and Southern Cal.

Saban wasn't just a failure in the NFL...he was a quiter too. No one, and I mean no on, will ever give him a chance in the NFL again.

I've always said this is the most likely move if Saban leaves Bama.
I think he WILL eventually leave. His ego is too big for one thing (a big ego isn't necessarily bad in a coach, IMO, so that's a compliment). I think he'll eventually get bored at Bama and have a want (haha) for a challenge. And what greater challenge AND boost to his ego than to coach a third team, this time from a non-SEC conference, to a BCS title? But I don't think he leaves for any team. There's got to be cache with the history of the program...and the right atmosphere (small town, historic program, loyal fanbase). Penn State fits the bill, plus he's got ties to the area. But I don't know if he'd leave next year, I give him a few more years to get tired of his current job.
That, or he goes back to the NFL, like Carroll. Could be that after a few more years, he regrets the way he left and doesn't want that failure as a part of his legacy.
