Homerun hire for USC, although many will downplay it
Riley is a great coach, most underrated in the country
that being said, I don't think he'll leave OSU, that's his place

Well idk how it will affect recruiting
but I really don't think he'll leave, it seems he turns down jobs every other year, including Alabama, his Alma mater

I've always wondered why his name doesn't pop up more on the big program hires.

This is also done except for the ink crying on the contract. But it could fall through as with anything. Like how I covered by bases on that one.

USC is one of the few schools that could have just about anyone. I would swing for the fences and if that fails then get Mike Riley.

Chris Mortenson reported that Carroll texted him saying something to the effect of "I haven't discussed anything related to the NFL in two years." Basically he said no comment.
