And he brought up an interesting point, last year the defense wasn't getting the job done and Les made a change, this year the offense is lacking, where's the change?
And a big
to the Advocate for ruining my day with the Crowton staying article on the front page of the sports page.

If a change isn't made, it's for these reasons:
*Money
*Les doesn't want his young QB to have to learn a new system
*Les can't afford for his team to take a year or two to learn a new system
*Crowton has been successful at LSU, so there is a track record
None of those things were in play with the Def Coord change last season.

My take on it.. the TAF does not want to buyout Crowton cause they sense a possible need to clean house in December.

*Miles believes Billy Gonzales, with Crowton, will solve the problem.

Well we might as well be resigned to a 7-5 record at best, but we can look forward to a new coaching staff next year at this time. So that't good.

He isn't young anymore.

What do you consider young then?

If it's money then it's only going to get worst, because I personally know several people who won't be giving their usual amount amount until these clowns are run out of town.

I second that. I refuse to go to another LSU game until Miles has a miracle and learns how to coach or is fired.

I'm still waiting out. I'll wait till spring practice to start for the news he's fired.
Posted on 1/8/10 at 9:46 am to DEG
um, under a new OC he would only learn one system isntead of a dozen at one time.

I'm of sound mind to believe that Mr. Gonzales is going to have more say than we think he will. However.....
I remember having defensive co-coordinators. I don't think that's going to work that well on the offensive side either....just my two cents.
