I'd have him in my top 10 for sure. Maybe even top 5. Getting it done in the post season gets him some extra points in my book.

He is top 5 in my book. His A game might be higher then anyone else's. There would def. be an argument for that.

He cracks the top 10, not much past that though.

1 bird hit by pitch and exploded
That alone gets him the nod in any tie-breaker situation.
I'd have him in the top 5, but I really am not great with the all time greats in baseball.

I remember watching baseball tonight like 8-9 years ago and youd see Johnson's line. 8 IP, 13 K's, 2 BB's, 1 run. It seemed like it was that every damn time he pitched

Best line I ever heard about Randy Johnson:
Just lay Randy Johnson flat down in centerfield and let him pop his zits, it will look like fireworks on the 4th of July
- Jim Rome
eta: top 10 pitcher

This could be the better topic...
But as to the original topic, Randy Johnson's dominance from 1993-2004 might be the best 12 year stretch ever by a pitcher. Nobody was more dominant, nor intimidating to face, than a 6'10 Lefty throwing 99 mph.
