I was never totally sold on Miles because of his "aloof" talk but I gave him the benefit of the doubt because I love LSU and we were winning.
However, the Ole Miss game was the last straw for me. He embarrasses LSU and its fans with his commments on National TV- Les where was the field goal team? Answer - They were down under. At the least, the guy needs a media coach to intelligently respond to those questions. Could you imagine a coach for Bama answering like that. NO. Get ready guys the ride down on the roller coaster is in progress and the LSU football program is in the 2nd seat behind Less Miles. You can deny it all you want but its happening. They say the mark of a good leader is that you would follow him into battle. Of the coaches in the SEC west, would you choose Miles to follow into battle? I love LSU but I would be stepping to the line that wears the red shirts and you all know what I mean.

When Crowton had a veteran QB and OL in, 2006, and 2007 he was described as the Wizard.

However, with extreme inexperience at QB in 2007 and with extreme inexperience at QB and OL in 2008, Crowton is being described as clueless and incompetent.

Why do so many on the RANT choose to ignore that our poor play at QB is the major reason why our offense was unsuccessful the past couple of years.

When our inexperienced QBs can't find wide open WRs, that is not the fault of our coaching staff.

When our inexperienced QBs throw at the feet of wide open WRs, that is not the fault of our coaching staff.

Crowton wasn't the OC at LSU in 2006, but Oregon, who finished 7-6 that year.

LSU should never finish 112th in total offense and 120th out of 120 in number of plays by the offense. That is just damned pathetic and the blame lies with the OC and the HC.

Truth in the simplest of terms. There really is no excuse.

For that, Crowton should have had movers in his office today filling boxes for him. If it weren't for the talent on the field, we would have been 5-7 or 4-8. The talent alone overcame the bumbling ineptitude that is Gary Crowton's offensive coaching.

I have been a strong voice of support for Coach Les Miles but following the Ole Miss game I started to change my tune. If it hadn't been for a pick by the defense that gave us 6, we wouldn't have even had the flub up with the clock in that game. It would have just been another ugly loss.

FIRE CROWTON NOW!!! or Les Miles will be gone next year with him.

Hey bad cat who is responsible for developing the qb, and the rest of the team. Who is making a lot of money to do just that.

I don't see the intensity, aggressiveness, or discipline that it takes to compete year in and year out in the SEC.
If you can't manage your players, game clock, playing the best players not your senior players, make coaching changes needed to improve your team how will you win NC's, SECCG, or even the West.

I'm tired hearing about how stupid and inane les miles is as a coach. He is not the most intelligent coach to ever walk our sidelines but he can coach. Do you really think we were that much more talented than Ohio State to the point where our coach is a retard and we still won? Jim Tressel is a great coach with a very talented team and we beat them handily. There is some merit to winning that championship even if you believe it was because of the efforts of Nick Saban.

LSU fans will be happy if they see a diciplined, well coached team on the field. We may still lose games, but shitty play calling will never win over the fan base.

We have ourselves a winner. It is not 100% about the wins or record it is how they happen and if they are/ or show signs of being corrected.

And for the few that say 11-1 next year I quit drinking years ago but my god that must be some good shite. I might need to get my hands on some of that and start again. Wow.

With rudderless Crowton calling plays LSU will have no identity. 6-6 or 7-4 I'm calling it. LSU administration will have to go to damage control at that point.

I'd love 11-1 but I don't think Les can pull that off with what he's putting on the field. Wheels come off next year with a 6-6 record.

Please give me an argument where 6-6 is a viable prediction. We have pleant of returning talent as well as young talent.

What have you seen this year that gives you confidence our coaches will put a much improved product onto the field?

Next year is a much tougher schedule with OOC games and improved SEC teams. Bama, UF, WV, Ark, Aub I predict are losses. I think we drop another along the way.

Watch out for Mississippi State next year. We just pulled that one out this year and they will be even better next year.

Alright Nostradamus, we got florida and bama at home. Doubt we lose both. Auburn isnt necessarily gonna be better next year and Arkansas is beatable. LSU on turf against UNC looks good and I think we will handle WVU.

Check the schedule again. And it doesn't matter where we play Bama.

I think all signs point to Auburn fielding a better team as well as Arky. Both are beatable for sure but I say the odds are in their favor with Les as our coach and GC as the OC.

My question is If LSU wins 10 games (loss to AL) next year will the fans still be down on Coach Miles and if so will it push the LSU admins to act or do they stay status quo?

I think beyond the record it's important for the offense to get fixed. It's easy to drop 2 or 3 games in the SEC depending on the year but he's got too much talent for his offense to be that poor. I think if the offensive line gels, he will have a good year. The two things I'm looking at are the LT spot and how Jefferson settles in and gets more comfortable in the pocket.

Sorry, I didnt' mean to throw Florida in there at home. I still think we split there. I also think we got WV and UNC. WVU just doesn't have the athletes to play with us despite the fact it may be close. Let's say we also split Auburn and Arkansas. Ol Miss Mcneese and ULM. Ole Miss is losing all kinds of people with dexter mccluster marshay green and patrick trahan leaving. We got missippi state at home barring a huge upset. I don't see where 6 losses are coming even with poor coaching.
