Perception is reality. Like it or not ....fair or not.

One of the biggest misconceptions on this board the last 2 seasons is that the negativity is largely just on this board. Now, that is no longer debatable. I have relatives that live out of state wh have commented that other SEC fans love Coach Miles and want him to stay at LSU....that way they know LSU will not be a factor.

I dont think thats a fair statement to Coach Miles but I will say its obvious he is more the manager/CEO type than the tyrant/ hands on coach.

I personally have heard that Coach Stud is not a very good technique coach. In fact spends no time teaching technique at practice. (Ive posted this before. one of my bro in law's (who is a HS head coach) past O line players who had both Searells and Stud said this.

Crowton = crouton....nuff said. Obviously Coach Miles as the CEO can't fire his friends and therefore is not doing the CEO job.

Anything less than a NC run next year or I think the fans will turn on him in total. If i had to guess its 65-70% there already.

My question is If LSU wins 10 games (loss to AL) next year will the fans still be down on Coach Miles and if so will it push the LSU admins to act or do they stay status quo?

Yes, Coach Miles should check into Recovery immediately. He is addicted to bad coaching.

JUST KIDDING ! I MAKE JOKE !

i think lsu goes 11-1 next year with the loss to bama.i would trade a bama win for any other loss though.it would be good for miles.

LSU fans will be happy if they see a diciplined, well coached team on the field. We may still lose games, but shitty play calling will never win over the fan base.

No way in HELL LSU goes 11-1 or better! Miles will lose at least 5 games next year, maybe 6!

He would gain more respect by getting Crowton out of town. Or just send him to Southern

Thank God fans don't decide when to fire coaches.
Have you wondered why The Chief wanted to come here and then stay over GA? Have you wondered why Gonzales left Fla. to come to assist under Miles? Have you ever wondered why Coach Wilson left Tennessee to come to coach with Miles?

Do you think it has something to do with the fact that it is not nearly as bad as some rantards think?

I can see no possible way that we can expect an 11-1 season.

What was that definition of insanity again? Something about doing the same thing and expecting different results?

If the same coaches are here next year, can we realistically expect better results?????

you can stick a fork in Miles if we have another year anywhere resembling this year.... and unless LES forces "crouton" to change his style, it's gonna happen again.

Your opinion is welcomed but you are in the minority as it relates to all LSU fans. (IMO) I believe that the negative perception of Coach Miles will be his undoing. How can it be stopped in your opinion.

I agree. The ole miss game was the beginning of end for Miles. It started WAY before that, but it became obvious to the naysayers after that game. And Miles will never recover, no matter what he does.

He does not possess a defining football personality/identity. And does not lead with discipline and attitude...thus he will never succeed in the SEC. The players won in 07 inspite of Miles.

Flame away...

+1
I think Les' biggest mistake is not changing anything.

LSU Fans are not LM's problem.

Les Miles is Les Miles problem, and only he can fix it. Is he suddenly going to eliminate:

lack of talent utilization
ridiculously bad clock management
constant confusion and wasting of time outs
imbecillic interviews
pathetic play calling
non agressive defense

????

You tell me. Can Les fix Les's problems?

I do not believe this to be true or valid.

Player play coaches coach and neither can win a championship without the other.

Having said that changes need to be made by Miles now IMO and if not than he needs to be changed.

Maybe they are getting in line for the succession when Miles is banished ...

I believe they are fixable by Les but doubt that he will do what it takes. But if he did I still doubt he could win back support of the nay sayers.

A lot of people here won't be happy until Miles commits seppuku on the 50-yard line of Tiger Stadium.
