Does the average fan think the Saints will make the Superbowl now?

I've got my fingers crossed. I hope they can find it in two and a half weeks.

My fear is that both the Saints and the Vikings turn around their seasons in time for an NFC Championship for the ages, but they rely on their running game rather than we find ours, and the Vikings win.

My greater fear is that we make it to the Super Bowl only to face the Patriots, who now have film, motivation, experience, and the underdog tag on their side.

Either way, those are fears. For now, gotta believe indeed.

If the Saints can't manage to win one playoff game this season, it will be a tough and somewhat disgraceful way to end the season.

If the Saints win a playoff game and then lose in the NFC Championship game, it will be disappointing, but not a disgrace.

If the Saints make it to the SB, it will be the best Saints season of all time. No shame or disgrace even if we lose the SB, because we are NFC Champs !

The average Saints fan probably won't admit it to his friends, but, he probably is not so sure that the Saints make it to the SB, and is somewhat doubtful that they actually WIN the SB.

Sorry, that I have to agree. The Saints left-side offensive line has been exposed. If this is not corrected, then Carolina wins this week. Any team that has a good right-side defensive end will have many sacks, and put alotta pressure on Brees. He will be forced to throw quick passes. There will be no time to throw downfield. Throwing downfield opens up the short passes and the run game.

Why did you come to the Saints board looking for average fans? I would like to think we're all a little above average fans, with the exception being Blitzed.

If they just get back to doing what they do best. Mix up the run and the pass. Gotta keep Brees in his comfort zone. I know they have been struggling, but I'm not ready to just write them off.

They will make it. I think they'll win it as long as they don't face the Chargers. S.D. seems like they'll rep the AFC in the Super Bowl.
