It's not like Fla. is going to rehire the Zooker they're going to get a great coach and we still have to go there.

I always thought next year would be a good year for LSU. Some good experience at key positions. The QB, OL, and DL play can only improve after this year. Too bad for Florida and Urban, but this certainly bodes well for LSU next season no matter who they hire.

Bama and Florida are both losing a lot of players after this season. They have a lot of talent waiting to come in, but there were a lot of senior leaders on those teams.

It is possible for some guys to leave due to the fact that they don't like the philosophy of the new coach. That said, I do agree with the above statement.

This is the year to return the humiliation of '08, kick em while they're down, cause they'll be back up soon enough

A lot has yet to be determined. Few freshman recruits really make an impact anyway, but recruiting will suffer. I like your chances versus UF even in the swamp.

Longer term, we'll be fine - even Zook beat you at Tiger Stadium with a freshman QB.

It is a bummer. I am sure similar to how you all felt when Saban left. (Health vs. Pro, probably takes the sting off for us a bit, but not much - this sucks)

Wow, that has absolutely nothing to do with the present situation, but thanks for the contribution anyway.

Zook was a new HC and beat us. They will have a new HC and he has an opportunity to beat us. How do u not see the relevance?

I think that might be the worst analysis I've ever read.

There will be zero difference next year between an Urban Meyer coached Florida team and a non Urban Meyer coached Florida team. Three years form now, maybe.

Ask me again after we know who's leaving Bama early, and when Kiffin's probation starts. Worst case, 13-1 and the Sugar Bowl.

Florida will always be tough no matter who is coaching there. They have the facilities and the recruiting base to win regularly.

I don't care who is coaching the other team, our coach has shown a propensity to barely win, just lose, or get blown out regardless of the circumstances. And yeah, the coach before him did too...but not like this.

So, here's what I see in 2010.

vs. UNC - Tigers win by 6

vs. Vandy - Tigers by 12 with final score coming midway through the fourth quarter...no backups get appreciable playing time.

vs. MSU - Tigers by 7. Dan Mullens has the Bulldogs playing well. Again, no backups get appreciable playing time.

vs. WVU - Mountaineers are not what they were under RichRod...Still, they play us close. LSU by 10.

vs. Tennessee - Repeat of 2005. Vols score 14 unanswered in the fourth with Chavis' defense giving up too many crucial third and longs.

vs. FLA - LSU by 3 facing a Florida team still searching for its new identity.

vs. McNeese St. - LSU by 30. Finally some backups get to play.

vs. AUB - LSU in Alabama...not a good thing. Chizik machine and refs in full effect. Plainsmen by 7

vs. ALA - Old coach wins again. Three in a row for Alabama because they out-physical us.

vs. ULM - LSU by 15. After a "tough" loss against Bama where they were beaten up, the Tigers prevail late over ULM.

vs. Ole Miss - Nutt and the Rebels by six. CLM hasn't beaten the guy in the last three tries.

vs. Arkansas - On the road at Arkansas and Mallet is still there? Patrino is reviving the Louisville look of old. Razorbacks score with time expiring to win by three.

Again we have another year where no one on the team is developed. The offensive line and the defensive lines are still problematic, and five losses is possible.

Don't get me wrong. I hope we go 14-0, but I don't see it. The development of our players simply isn't there anymore.
