to the bowl game. Why you ask? Because after that, its 9 LONG months of nothing to do on Saturday's except yard work. Sure, we get the methadone-like March Madness blip on the adrenaline radar and then a bit of a baseball fix, but truly, those sports are just something to be endured until football season. So, enjoy this short build up to the game, it's the only "second season" we get in CFB with no playoff. Hey, at least the Saints are good, right?

Baseball season isnt just a fix it was great before football was great. The post season of baseball is just as much fun as football season.

I like all LSU sports, football of course holds the top spot, but LSU baseball is just fun as hell to watch. Man, during the spring, Tuesday/Wednesday nights and the weekends can't come fast enough. I love me some college baseball.

Super Bowl is Feb. 7. Then I guess if you're really dreading the end of the season, you could watch the Pro Bowl. By then, LSU is in the dead middle of SEC play, and baseball can get you into June. And then by August, you got NFL Preseason. So really, July is the worst month for sports period.

After the bowl game you got conference basketball, followed by baseball til June, then fall practice and football again, plus national signing day and the NFL Draft.

This will be my last game for 2 seasons making this trip to Orlando well worth it. The last time I missed a whole season was when we won it all in 07. I'll take another for the team I guess.

This is the exact reason why i couldn't understand people saying "is LSU football fun anymore?". Those were the most idiotic threads ever. We only get 3 1/2 months of it, and all people do is complain about it. Well, it's practically over people, are you happy now?
