Im going to be in New Orleans this weekend for the Saints and Southern Miss games, and am just curious to see what are some good places to eat for under 20 bucks for lunch or even an early supper. Let me know some of the places and where they are located. Thanks.

In the quarter-
Gumbo Shop
Cafe Maspero
Someone help me with the name of the place right next to Molly's because it is def. affordable and not bad.

If in the warehouse district you can get pretty good for under that price at the Ugly Dog Saloon, Ernst Cafe, and probably at Lucys.

This is the place on Decauter that always has long lines and is known for their Mufalatta right?

LUCYS Retired Surf shop

Been here for drinks but never for food, what do they have Po-boys? Seafood?
On a Saints note I met Jeremy Shockey at Lucy's last summer FWIW

Not sure about that, but their po-boys are good.

You reminded me, go to Central Grocery and get a Mufalatta and an Abita beer and go sit out by the river if the weather is nice.

Also if you like oysters, go to Felixes.

1. Get drunk as Cooter Brown.
2. Stumble to the nearest corner of Bourbon with a Lucky Dog cart.
3. Slump to the ground on said corner.
4. Have friend hand several dollars to the vender while you slur out your order.
5.Feed like a wild dog.
6. Works like a charm every time and you'll have enough cash left to get a drink for the stumble back to your hotel.

Maspero is my favorite. Just remember they don't take credit cards. Can't go there for work because we can't put it on the AMEX.
