Went with a group of 12 for a small Christmas celebration for the company my wife works for.
We went in with the idea that we were going to be doing the Reveillion(sp) dinner, which is $42 for four course.
After looking over the menu, just about everyone decided on doing the 3 course deal they always have for $29. It wasn't because of the price, it was more for the selections.
Everything turned out great. I had the goat cheese and shrimp crepe, the double cut porkchop that came with excellent greens and sweet potatos, and for dessert I had the creme Brulee(sp).
Overall I give it a big thumbs up. They did a very good job of taking care of our big group and I very much enjoyed the Sazeracs I was drinking. Only one minor complaint was that the food could have been hotter, but I am sure our group size had something to do with that, so I let that slide.

I've always had solid above average meals at Muriel's with good service. It's not a 5 star restaurant, but it's consistent with good food and a nice atmosphere.

I'm partial to any restaurant that serves good foie gras.
