“I think Charles Scott is on a probable list,” Miles said. “Whether it’s probably or probably not is the question. We’re optimistic, but I think I might be too optimistic.”

He said exactly what he intended to say, and communicated exactly what he intended to communicate. And if you can't perceive a mischievous sense of humor there, you need another cup of coffee.

He has a want to be coherent, but the opportunity hasn't presented itself.

You really don't understand that?

....Miles-anese translation: Scott may be able to play but, I ain't gonna tell if he definately will.

Other than to satisfy our idle curiousity, please tell me what good would it do to say that Scott definitively will or won't play so that Penn State can prepare accordingly?!?!?!

If recited backwards to "Revolution or Revolver" music, there's a subliminal message...will let you know following analysis.

R-kansas wishes he couldn't run a 2-minute offense. And BTW, we ran a pretty damn good 2-minute offense against Georgia and Ole Miss (prior to the final drive). Also, Florida '97 wants their lingerie back from the last two minutes of that game. TN '96 too, and Arizona State, and Alabama '96. Should I continue?

This is probably sarcasm, and if so, well done.

That said, if you're not being sarcastic, you are giving Miles too (with emphasis) much credit.

Miles is so much smarter than you people give him credit for.

I get that some of you don't like him, but to say the main is an feable-minded is incorrect.

I get that some of you like Miles, but I don't understand how anyone can defend his public communication skills.

L.M. exhibits more verbal claptraping to the news media, Louisiana people, and the LSU Nation...

Sometimes if you flip Miles' sentences around (invert the order of sentences) he makes sense. I think he's a bit dyslexic.

Try it out. Read the second sentence, then the first. Then it makes sense. It works with other things he says too.

I have said many times that I'm like Switzerland when it comes to Miles.

Right or wrong, I think he does the coach speak almost all the time on purpose.

He's an absolute blockhead clodhopper. For him, that english butchery, was actually somewhat readable! Not! When you go out of your way to babble your way through a sentence or response in order to TRY to sound intelligent, you sound like the dumbass that he is. Regardless of the assinine amount of money LSU is just giving this "Chuckles the clown" coach!

Wrong - more like this: "Try to make sense of this you dickheads in the media."

quote:

He said exactly what he intended to say, and communicated exactly what he intended to communicate.
Correct - see above.
