Asked in another thread with no response. Thought maybe a few of the many doctors on the forum could surmise about this.

I don't know a terrible lot about clavicle injuries, but I never heard anything about Scott's post-season status; just that he was out for the rest of the season, which I took to mean "through the last game, i.e. - Arkansas".

Anyone?

Possible, but don't bet anything on it.

I wouldn't risk it if I were him. Get healthy and try to get in the best shape of his life. His forty time is going to make or break his draft status.

Possible for him to be back as far as healing. I sorta think it will be up to him. He may want to if it would improve his draft stock!

if it was me i would be sitting out. with his position his shoulders take a serious beating and i wouldnt trust the new bone to be strong enough to take the abuse. Then again, he may heal faster than the average guy - unfortunately its one of those roll the dice deals. He could play, have a huge game and be fine or end up like Sam Bradford

Peterson broke his in mid October and made it back for the bowl game, but him playing was heavily questioned.

Scott broke his collar bone in November 3-4 weeks later. I seriously doubt there is any chance he plays.

You forget that not only does he have to heal, he has practice AFTER healing, so don't count on it.

I still say we should get him in the game for at least one play, whether he can play or not. ...Just as a sign of respect for all that he's done. Put him in for a play, send him in motion to the sideline and then run to the other side of the field.

I like it. He is still a captain on this team.

How about bringing him in for victory formation and have him take a knee to end the game?

He's been quoted as saying he plans on playing. Figures it will help his draft status, tho not sure how that works out.

I would guess an appearance at the senior bowl (assuming he would be invited) would do more to help his draft status.
