I thought Miles did well with his radio show last night

Sure, there was the odd choices of words and I still can't believe what happened, happened.
Of course those who have always disliked him would have only been satisfied if he had resigned last night. Therefore since he didn't they didn't like anything. Tough shite.
I remember after an embarrassing loss to Kentucky in 1992, Hallman suddenly realized he had " a prior engagement" and Phil Bennett filled in for him. Other coach's call-in shows while "live" have the questions previously recorded so the Q&A is rather mild and basically, lame.
Miles and the LSU Radio Network stepped up last night. Sure, there were some softballs but they also kept on some rather combative callers, too. The guy from Bogalusa didn't hold back and I thought the woman from Shreveport was going to have a meltdown. Les answered them maybe not to everyone's satisfaction, but answered them nonetheless.
He's got a tough row to hoe right now,but last night was a pretty good first step back.

Glad you could listen.
I listened to the first 5-7 minutes and had to shut it off. Jordy was making me puke.

Now a little bit of Jordy does go a long way.

Everyone does something stupid now and then. The more I think about it the less pissed off I am. Now if LSU were playing for a shot in the SEC championship game or were playing in a BCB/National title, I say hang him by his sack. Twenty years from now it will only list what bowl game we played in. I want to win the last two.
I am not all about "LSU" fans who more than likely have been "fans" since 2003 who pick against LSU. I for one will never pick against my own team. That is complete bullshite.

I agree with you I-59. He stepped up last night and "took it like a man". He did not throw JJ under the bus like I was afraid he would try to do and he took the blame. Some people may not have liked the answer he gave them but he did not dodge any questions no matter how tough they were.

they only let you ask softballs really and screen the calls ahead of time so miles can prepare an answer

He even said something to the effect that JJ will be one of the best QB's in the nation. May be "coach speak", but the "coach" did "speak" it on a signal that goes out to about 34 states.

Yeah, Miles is the only person who would ever do something like that.

other than the fact that jordy was kissing his arse and protecting him from the questions he didnt want to answer

That's what made me shut it off. . .

I think Jordy was arse raped by Saban and has now turned into a whimpering little dog. Does anybody have any post game interviews with Saban and Jordy? Those were classic I (Saban) put you in your place interviews.

Exactly-let's move on and win the last 2.

As the week goes on, this is how I'm feeling. He's our coach, and no matter how bad the mistake was, we need to get behind him. Hopefully, he'll learn from it and we can move on. And no doubt, the mistakes made in the Ole Miss game will lead to significant changes in the offseason.

At the very least, if not get behind him, folks need to remain behind the players and focus on "LSU" and not let any contempt for Miles bleed over into the team.

anyone that doesn't think LSU didn't do extra choreographing with the calls last night is an idiot .. the athletic department knew how big of a show that was going to be last night ... it they could have planted callers and given miles a script, they would have .. but they did the next best thing last night ...
how can people still make excuses for a person that has been in and around the game of football for probably 45+ years as either a player or a coach to make mistakes a 9 year old playing madden on xbox wouldn't make with clock management is beyond me ..
