And Ill take my Engineering degree from Rice over anything from USC...
Any school named after something I pick up "to go" from Chao's cannot be that great.
Its been fun, but my supermodel girlfriend (she makes Bar Rafaeli look like fido) is here and I promised her a flight over the Pacific tonight. Happy Thanksgiving, don't eat too many crawdads or whatever it is you people eat.

Actually, wasn't talking to you, but while we're at it, I will say that if you even KNOW where McNeese is, you are a La. native and so full of Cali. shite your eyes are jimson week brown...
Ever heard of google, or is Louisiana still so third world its "students" don't know how to operate a search?
I know an LSU dentist, a crazy guy who was an LSU fanatic (and a good dentist). Are you him?
I knew who he was talking to. Didn't I tell you people about my USC degree with honors, then Wharton Business School? Compared to Wharton and USC, LSU educationally is JUCO.

You're pretty subtle but I picked up on your schtick from post 1. And I will say business is gooood.
moved from a state where everyone has three teeth to a state where everyone has four?

WTF are you smokin', douche weed?
better than alfafa ... McNeese LOL, talk about a country place

Where in Louisiana did you grow up, tadd?
I was born in Newport, Rhode Island and grew up in NYC and Santa Barbara, California.

I won't even tell the rather obvious Tennessee dentist joke.
I'm pleased the thread has reverted to basketball. I don't think this game means a lot to LSU re: the SEC. U Conn is a damn good team that is a little underrated, and LSU has a good chance of doing well this year in its conference.

No state can call themselves perfect, even Cali. But your idea of the south seems to be stemmed more on the past than present.
I took a business trip in my private jet to Shreveport and Jackson and I was appalled. All you could get on the radio was Limbaugh and Hannity and some guy named Moon Griffin. I'm used to guys like Al Franken, Sean Penn and Tim Robbins. It was like I stepped back into the 50's.
I don't consider New Orleans part of the south. Its the exception, a misplaced West Coast town that just happens to be located in the South.

You can't be disheartened by the U Conn game because U Conn is a particularly strong team. LSU needs a big man and a little more experience.
Let me compare then let's get back to sports:

We have hair styles, you have mullets.

We have baked salmon, you have chicken fried steak.

We have jazz and blues, you have banjo picking.

Need I go on?

Let's just call a truce because I know I'm right.

You clearly are lying and you have something against the south. It is very obvious by your comments. You don't just say shite like that and expect not to get bashed about it. You are way out of line a-hole!
Okay, let's start over. I apologize. I think this disagreement stems from a misunderstanding of what I have been saying, and perhaps because I am not that skilled at communicating with the lower socioeconomic classes so it may just be that we are from different stations in life and society. If that's it, I'm sorry. I did not mean to offend.

Bob Knight is one of the greatest basketball coaches of all time. Don't let your bias against anyone who is not from the South temper your comments.
I am not bashing the South. I am pointing out some facts about the South that are widely recognized. I like LSU baseball, so how much of a south basher could I be?

Pointing out that we are much more open-minded and non-biased on the West Coast is not a criticism of the South.
Let's change the subject and agree to disagree. I'm reasonable.
I saw the imports from the South when I made the mistake of going to our NASCAR race. UGH. Never saw so many wife beaters and tobacco chewers in my life (hardly anyone smokes among the people I hang out with). I have nothing personal against the South, but the class is out West.
Lower socioeconomic type European-Americans run the schools in Louisiana and they aren't interested in basketball, they love football. You still, essentially, have the plantation system in place. This is why the best basketball recruits either are not from Louisiana/Miss./Ala. or they flee those states as soon as they get the chance.

Its Les Miles fault. The basketball team would be kicking butt if Nick Saban was the coach.
No, we know who the developmentally challenged person is.

Go to any list of the Top Ten or Top Twenty all time college basketball teams (e.g. LINK You will not find one deep South team. Hillbillies don't play basketball, its a cultural fact and I mean no offense by it.
