Okay. You wake up this morning and you are Les Miles. You know what your limitations are. What's your specific plan for the Arky game, the bowl game and next season? For the sake of argument, lets go out on a limb and say you aren't going to resign in a noble gesture to the program and aren't going to take another job. We're talking strategy and tactics here.

Mine off the top of my head:

1) Pull GC's play calling duties immediately. In his place either (a) if you have one offensive assistant you feel comfortable doing it, give him the duties for this one game; or (2) take the responsibllity on yourself - first elicit input from all offensive staff and the senior offensive players, then put together a play calling plan and take responsibility for it with the team before the game.

2) RR starts the game as 3rd WR/slot receiver and plays at least half the offensive snaps.

3) RS plays as much as possible - halfback/runningback or qb in wild tiger. If he is really having trouble remembering plays, etc. put him in every time we take over the ball with 2 plays that he knows before he goes in. Have him throw the ball the 1st or 2nd time he touches it.

4) Use the huddle. Forget the meerkat. If you need to run the plays in with players. Then go to the line of scrimmage and run the play. No looking to the sidelines.

5) Make a deal with Chavis (in writing if necessary) that you will give him $5,000.00 for each 3rd down stop and $10,000.00 for each 3 and out.

6) Tell the offense that anyone who is flagged for illegal procedure, delay of game, jumping offsides, etc. rides the bench for at least a series or two (yeah, including the QB). Tell them if they go the whole game without getting more than 1 such penalty you will reward them (with whateveer you can under NCAA guidelines).

7) Institute that clock coach/time out manager guy you were talking about.

8) Tell your family you love them but you might not be seeing them as much this week and prior to the bowl game and when next season starts. Put in as much time as you can on the team. Get a cot in your office if you need to. Except take one night off and get as shite faced drunk as you can. Never know, sometimes it helps to kill off a few brain cells. Might clear out some cobwebs.

These are things we should have been doing all year. I say we use Shepard as a QB/RB and stop lining him up at WR. We already have Tolliver, Lafell, and Randle....I'm sure Crowton can find a mismatch somwhere with that lineup....wait, no he can't.

LSU just needs to play solid conventional football with limited mistakes. LSU has the talent to win the next and probably the last game if they just keep from f-ing up. They just need to concentrate on execution and get rid of all the bumbling.

1 - Focus this week on making the final home game for the seniors a special day...The teams focus should be to get a great win for these guys. Take the focus off the past few weeks and make it a "fun" week.

2 - Put much of the focus during bowl prep and next year's probable starters, especially on defense...don't worry about the bowl game until the final 3-4 practices

3 - Run the hell out of Ridley Saturday

4 - Make a short list of potential OC candidates. If the preferred choice can be had immediately after the Ark game, make the move, otherwise, let Crowton know he has about a month to seek other opportunities.

5 - Log in to Apple.com early Friday morning to buy ForeLSU a new MacBook Pro at the Black Friday sale.

-Give it to Ridley, he will want to make an impression before Ford gets his chance.
-Tell GC that RS is going to run a bunch of play and he is going to pass the ball.
-Tell himself every morning before he goes to work, "It worth $4 million., just smile and take the beating."

To score on Arky:
-Establish a run. You do not have to be good, just keep the safeties occupied.
-Every 5th play, run a play-action and throw to where the safeties used to be (posts, fades are good)
-Limit turnovers (we recover alot of fumbles for some reason)

To defend against Arky O:
-send 5 every play, but change it up. If Mallett knows where the extra blitzer is coming from, youre as good as toast (maybe use some CB blitz when on short side of field)
-Defend the middle of the field (will be hard to do, but doable if pressure on QB)
-If one on one coverage, HOPE LIKE HELL MALLETT DOESNT GET THE BALL OFF

My keys to yall beating us.

PS: Surprisingly for once, we dont turn the ball over much, so if you can get turnovers/fumbles, things could get interesting

This. I said before the Ole Miss game that Keiland needed 20 carries for us to win. He got 11 and it's apparent that even if he hadn't gotten hurt, he wouldn't have gotten to that number. So this week, I make sure Ridley gets 20 carries and I might even run some option with Shep and TH. If Jefferson has to throw it more than 25 times, we lose.

RUN THE BALL! If it works, keep doing it. It would be great to run the slant route over the middle a few more times. I will not expect anything different so I will not get disappointed..

For the Arky game, make it a fun week/game, as ForeLSU suggested. By all accounts the players are very down, as they should be. Make it their week, tell them to just go out and have fun, play with reckless abandon, and beat Arkansas. We haven't run any "trick" plays all season, so throw in a few, and let Chavis go wild with blitzes so the D has some fun as well.

Cool. Also maybe throw in a few bucks for every sack or tackle behind the line of scrimmage.
