no, i thought it was absurd, but those were the comparisons mentioned about Oden coming out of OSU.

yes. i think an accelerated development virtually his entire life, and multiple years as a pro is better than 4 years (only playing 3 i believe) with John Wooden 4 decades ago when the game was totally different.

but he's playing against people with accelerated development all their lives too.
