wanted miles fired but have changed your mind? I'm guilty of it. it was purely a reaction of my rage. while he needs to be closely watched, firing him would be a bad idea right now.

I thought I wanted him gone before Saturday. Now I'm certain.

Hey, if you guys don't care, neither do I.

I wanted him fired and still do. Its more than just one game. Its last season's 3-5 debacle, this season's offense.

What's in store for next season? Maybe Special Teams, who knows...

miles has 2 years.

if he can't get it done (win the SEC at least)with a SR QB with 2+ years of experience, he's gone.

we've got some ballers coming up.

Im too much of an optimist but i'll see how well we do against Arky and if we get top of the line QB, OL, and OC coaching hires on the offseason. If we can do that then it's a maybe on Mr. Miles.

I didn't want him fired. And now I do.

Unless LSU does something to back him publicly, he will be a lame duck coach. And there is no good in having a lame duck coach. Ask FSU.

Truthfully, Saturday night I wanted him gone. Immediately.

A couple days later, with some thought, let's do the smart thing.

I'm not sure what the 'smart thing' is yet, but we have time.

YES. Do you think that people thinking the LSU coach is a moron will help in recruiting?

the smart thing would be to upgrade our o-line and d-line coaching, and let crowton have one more year with jefferson.

we are on the brink of something pretty special with that kid.. can't think that a whole new system will help us as things cycle back our way.

This is where I'm at now, and it makes me sad because I like the guy. He's just not the elite level coach that LSU deserves.

i want him fired now. waiting is just putting off the inevitable and prolonging the misery. we have too much talent to squander another 2 yrs on the guy.

i think he is very nice guy and a respectable man. he will be a fine coach for another team. he's not what LSU needs.

Yes, that is exactly what we should do. Specifically when they verbally illustrate the feelings that they have. I.E. Joe Blow thinks Miles sucks because he is unsure on how to actually call a timeout in a real live game. Or Billy Stuphencock, when he says he thinks we should fire Miles because he is horrible in SEC play and has undoubtedly under developed the majority of the 4-5 start recruits he has signed during his tenure. And finally, we should listen to his grade school teacher of her thoughts and his inability to break a 14 on his ACT in order to get into college. So yea, I think other peoples thoughts on Miles are as valuable to me as yours or even mine.

I'll give him 10 more years to see if he can turn things around.

Only because I feel bad that if he's fired he'll be out on the street with no money.

because recruiting isn't based on what people think about him
