I'd love for us to have the problem of finding the answer to that question.

money talks...and most coaches would salivate at the chance to coach in this talent rich state and in this program.

You are only accounting for 11 of 13 games.

this. Rich Rod could do OK here, prolly be back on top, but not going to happen because Miles wins coach of the year next year.

Any coach who wants to win a NC will come here. It's not the loss. it's the way we lost it.

This isn't a Frank Solich situation.

After last night, I believe every coach in the country would understand Miles' dismissal.

I want to win a game that means something for once sooner rather then later

Any coach with enough self-worth to realize he's better than Miles. Miles went 8-3 on the player's backs. A coach who believes in himself and his system would think he could win a NC with that kind of talent.

Also: any coach that watched the Tech and the Ole Miss games.

Miles will not be fired for 8-3. He will be fired because LSU does not look like a legit contender in the SEC West currently, he cannot consistently hire good assistants, he cannot develop his players, and he cannot successfully manage this team in crucial times.

Beating 5 teams with records UNDER .500 is not something to beat your chest about.

Any coach that has seen the LSU/Ole Miss game or any of Les's other fiascos(cough cough Troy 08, Arky 08, Tenn of 06, Arky 07, Kentucky 07 cough cough) and thought damn that coach was wrong I could do better easily.

someone who realizes wins and losses aren't the only way to determine if a coach is doing well especially with unutilized talent and not even giving that talent a chance to succeed.

Why don't you just come out and say you support Les and he made the right decisions yesterday?

Any coach that can read the schedule and results. I've never played football, and I have never coached football past a PlayStation. That said, I'm confident I could have coached LSU to a .500 record.

Overall record is so stupid in college football. 8-3, wow we have wins against ULL, LaTech, Washington, and Tulane.

We're 7-8 in the SEC the last two years that's all I care about.

exactly.

We don't have the best coach in CF. Les is a good coach who sometimes (often?) makes boneheaded decisions (or rather, fails to make any decisions at all).

We fire him after an 8-3 season we are a) stupid and b) have no idea what will happen next
