Stoops and Shanahan got offered when it was Zook. If Mike Shanahan will at least listen to a pitch about being HC of the Buffalo Bills, would he not be open to talking to Florida?

Ignoring the sarcasm for the moment, what I mean is, if you're willing to consider the bleakness of Buffalo both in terms of climate and roster, Florida might seem pretty good.
By the way, if you're going to attract any FA to Buffalo, you damn well better be able to "recruit" him.

Not exactly ... in the NFL it's all about the money or championships (for players that have already raked in their cash). There's no recruiting involved.

Let's put it this way.. if they DON'T promote Strong, I'd say he leaves no matter what.

does Strong have a white wife? I couldn't care less but i'm sure the "white wife=no recruiting in the south due to black women not allowing their sons to play for him brigade" will be in shortly if he does
