MW 2 on Veteran

Has anyone started a game on veteran? Does it make you want to rip your hair out with how hard it is?

I played through on veteran. It wasn't as bad as I anticipated. There were some areas that I absolutely hated, but as as a whole it wasn't too tough.
Approaching the White House in Whiskey Hotel sucked.
The last part of Contingency sucked.
Favela sucked.

It's not all that difficult. You just have to learn to cover your arse and be patient. Only took me slightly longer than my first run-through on Regular.
There were plenty of annoying parts though. The mission at Makarov's safe house wanted to make me stab someone. The boat chase at the end pissed me off as well, you are at the mercy of the helicopter's accuracy.

I was killed more times than I would like to admit during this objective.
It took me slightly longer going through on Veteran. You have to be more patient. On the easier difficulties, I just run and flank the enemy the entire time.

I didn't mind the safe house itself, it was escaping the safe house that irritated me.

Not near as bad as the first MW. Finshed it in 7:58.

Heh, I haven't beat MW2 on regular yet, but I will try veteran for the achivement points.

Played and beat it on veteran when the PS3 issues were happening. It was much better than the first one, not quite as hard. Just learn to take cover and let your health recharge b4 you try and come back out.

Not as hard as the original MW...watch out for the favela (guys on roofs) and getting downhill to the LZ after leaving Makarovs safe house took me 20-30 trys for some reason...just kept dying repeatedly!

These were the two hardest parts for me. Protecting the download in Makarov's safe house wasn't bad but getting out and down the hill was a bitch.
