Few things you need to know.. I'll also be taking questions.
1.) Alcohol in the Grove - Laws state you cant have beer, but you CAN have liquor.. They do not enforce this law, keep it in a cup and dont wave your beer/or liquor bottle around in the wide open, you'll be fine. Basically just observe to cup rule.
2.) Icechests must have locks on them if they are going to be left UNATTENDED during the game. IF you have someone at the tent and your icechest is their without a lock it will be fine.
3.) Parking on campus is limited. Get their early and you'll get a spot. Dorm lots around the Union are clutch but hard to come by. You can play the make a spot game but watch out for no parking signs, especially around shrubs and flower beds, your car WILL be towed. Worse case parking - Park in the old Oxford Mall/New movie theater. Its directly across from the first entrance to campus off Jackson Ave.
4.) The square will definitely be the place to be Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. Most bars will have large crowds so be prepared for that.
5.) I would advise you NOT to drink and drive. They really enforce that here. Taxis are available. If that can be avoided I would go with that route. Directly after the game, you have a better chance of getting away with it so dont freak about it.
Thats all I got off the top of my head right now.

What's early? We talking 9:00 or before the sun rises?

What's the rationale? That seems retarded.

many thanks, RebelNutt. This is my 2nd trip to Oxford and I can't wait. It is my favorite trip of the ones I have taken thus far.
By the way, I saw some young Tiger fans being relieved of a whole case of beer that they had not even opened. The guy was just carrying it and I assure there was no misbehavior involved. Evidently, it is not just that you cannot have an open container, you also cannot have unopened beer that is visible. At least that is how I remember it.
