Bad didn't really feel like reading through all your crap but I will say this...criticism is warranted on both recruiting and coaching because it doesn't seem to match at LSU right now...the offense has absolutely no identity...they can't decide what they want to do and are trying to do too much...the defense has settled under the Chief and has an Identity no matter what happened with LATECH. The offense is seeking an identity and has not found one in the last 2 years. As much as Jimbo drove me crazy..he stuck to his offense and recruited accordingly...it seems as if the last 2 years the offense was not set with what they want to do. When that issue is solved it may appear that the talent matches the coaching.

I'm gonna venture that you don't spend any time on other team's message boards.

Go read an OU board for a week. They seem to be doing fine in recruiting.

LSU's main competion is Bama in the SEC West and Florida in the SEC East--not Oklahoma.

Florida and Bama fans don't trash their head football coaches.

If NegaTigers think all their posts trashing Miles affects nobody's opinion of Miles, why waste all that time and energy?

NegaTigers don't give a damn if they are hurting LSU recruiting. They couldn't care less.

It's true. One recruit (who I promised not to reveal) was going to go to LSU. But after visiting the campus, checking out the first-class facilities, watching a game in Tiger Stadium with 90K-plus fans and just taking in the atmosphere on campus for a Saturday game, he changed his mind after reading the negative posts towards Miles on a message board.

One question BC, does your mom usually let you stay up this late on a school night?

Why do NegaTigers pretend potential recruits don't read meassage boards to find out what the fan base thinks about the HC, OC, and DC?

How can NegaTigers pretend Urban Meyer and Nick Saban don't profit from all the negative posts on Les Miles and his coaching staff when they know Florida and Bama fans don't trash their coaching staff as incompetents?

They do. All the frickin' time. THey've just both had 2 straight incredible years so no reason to trash them.

Nice try liar!

If Miles lost the last two games of the season as Nick Saban did last year, the NegaTigers would still be trashing Miles and his coaching staff, and you know it.

the only thing holding back LSU's chance at reaching it full potential is the constant attacks on our coaching staff by a vocal minority of its fanbase.

LSU doesn't have a problem with recruiting. The 2009 class was one of the best ever despite a mediocre 2008 performance. One thing you can say about Miles is that he is a great recruiter.

The big problem going on now is the leadership of the offense. Why does LSU have one of the worst offensive units in the NCAA, when they are loaded with offensive talent? Last year LSU had the same problem on defense. Les Miles took care of that problem at the end of the season. I'm hoping that he willing to do the same with his offensive staff at the end of this year.

If things go on as they are on offense, they will have a serious problem bringing in quality players. Why would anyone want to be a part of an offense that can't get its act together, despite being loaded with talent?

We're not even locking down the state anymore.
It's slipping a bit. WE should be nailing down 14 out of the top 15 every year.

I know if I was an out of state recruit and I was considering a major SEC power, I would be nore likely to eliminate LSU because of the lack of fan support to its head coach.

For a recruit making a decision he will have to live with for the next four or five years, stability of the head coaching job among my final choices would have to be a major factor.

Can any of the Negatigers explain why I am wrong?

I'd be more concerned about recruits not wanting to come play for this stupid coaching staff.

another piccalo player sounds off behind the anonymity of the internet.
Changes his avitar often just like a teen.

For those who really hate Miles & his staff, why don't you quit watching, listening & attending games. Put your money where your mouth is. If I hated someone, I wouldn't have anything to do with whatever they were associated with. To do otherwise is hypocritical

As a general point, this is perhaps the most hysterical thing I've ever read on here.

I'd like you to go get the perspective of Ron Zook, Mike Shula, Mike Dubose, Bill Curry or Ray Perkins, on the levelheaded reasonableness of the Florida and/or Alabama fanbases.

It's easy for a fanbase to look "reasonable" when their teams are undefeated with two games left in the season.

Not if we were undefeated and about to play for our 2nd consecutive SEC championship.

Not really.

Of the list you linked, only the number 1 player, Trovon Reed had an offer and didn't choose LSU.

2-6 are all commits.

7 and 8 don't have offers.

9 is a commit.

10 will be eventually. 11 probably will too.

After that...

..LSU recruiting has been solid. We are "ranked" ( yes, admittedly a very inconsistent speculative field, at best ) in the top group of classes every year.... And, basically, bottom line after all the sales pitches, kids go where they want. So, anyway, what the heck do you want, bro ? We gettin' our share .....

Florida and Bama fans don't trash their football coaches because they do a good job with the talent they're given. Les not so much. His recruiting has kept his job security but let's see how long that lasts after LSU has a few more 3-5 loss seasons.
