Silver Slipper-Crab Feast

In town from GA visiting the parents in Slidell on Halloween weekend and on that Friday we made the short drive to Bay St Louis to eat the "Crab Feast" at the Silver Slipper Casino. My parents go every week.
I LOVE blue crabs but they annoy me to pick and eat for the little amount of meat...this place has a great chef who does all the boiling (his shrimp are excellent-has them warm and cold) but he also boils dungeness crabs like a crawfish/blue crab boil...you can pull huge chunks of crab meat out of these things by the handful...I've never been full off of eating just crabs...they were freakin amazing. Spicy, easy to crack and peel...I can't wait to take my wife when we go in for Thanksgiving..I know where I'll be the night before the Arkansas game!
4p - 11p Friday & Saturday "Crab Feast" $19.95, it was my first time so I signed up for a player's card and got a buy 1 buffet, get 1 free. And when you show your card going back it's $2.00 off every time. So you can have all you can eat crabs and shrimp for just $17.95..not bad at all.

I took my mom in February and we were both VERY impressed. We too took advantage of the BOGO with a new player's card.

Sounds good, but I still hate their radio commercial.
"Come on down to the Silver Slipper. Pass a good time and the Silver Slipper."

But you knew the words to that little jingle now didn't you? LOL It's annoying but effective because it's memorable.

Yeah, the "come on down" part sucks, but I actually like the fact that "John" just gets on there and tells you whats going on. That other crap that sounds like a car commercial "COME ON DOWN THIS WEEKEND TO THE MEGA, ULTRA, SUPER AWESOME, TURBO GREAT, INSANE IN THE MEMBRANE 50 DOLLAR GIVEAWAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Uggghhh. Shut the F up!!!
ETA: Thanks for the review. I was wondering if it was worth a shot. Preciate you!!

My parents want to go there every time they visit. My dad could live off of crab.

That's me now, every time in either a Friday or Saturday and I'm going there for the Dung. Crabs. My parents go every weekend and don't get tired of it. The guy is constantly boiling them, if the bar is empty give him 2 minutes, they are constantly brining them out hot and fresh right out the pot. I also had the hot boiled shrimp which were very good and a slice of prime rib.....its a shame I can't report on the rest of the buffet

We're over in Hancock County. We're much closer than you think.
