ok im sure im missing something here but wasnt RS the top QB recruit in the country last year or in the top 2 or 3? Is his passing really off in practice? Jarret Lee is not good enough to be a QB at LSU or anywhere in the SEC - didnt we learn that the hard way last year

have you considered that he hasn't earned the #2 slot? or is this another "the coaches don't know shite" thread?

Because he's a Percy Harvin aka he's a wild(insert animal here) QB, he's being used as a WR/RB and has been working well with those (when he isn't getting confused on the play called that is--which isn't overly often)

The question is, are they the dumb ones or are we who continue to come here and read these posts?

A) This has been covered numerous times.

B) He knows 3 plays.

C) JLee wasn't good enough to be a SEC QB LAST YEAR. It's safe to say all 3 QB's have improved and will continue to.

Maybe because he hasn't thrown a pass yet? I'm just guessing

You must have missed a high school pre-req for football 1001, or tested into Football 0092. Try Football 0007 in summer school.

i have been asking myself that a lot lately. i was probably a little out of line on sunday with some of my comments towards some posters. and at that time i thought i should stay away for a while.

it didn't last though.

i come to this site because all the latest news and notes are posted right away. gives me the opportunity to read a lot of different articles about LSU. unfortunely i get roped into reading some of these threads and getting aggrevated.

i have been a lot more calm today. but i still think i need to stop reading here for a while.

I think Im going to have to get off the rant for the rest of the night.

I need to get some work done and this is the last window that should be open when one is trying to get work done.

until class tomorrow, adios

RS doesn't fit the Miles Doctrine: "Wait your turn behind upperclassmen."

You won't see him regularly unless Lee has a total meltdown, gets hurt or transfers. Everyone plays in class order on offense.

Shepard can't be the #2 QB if he doesn't even know where to line up on a play. He has to be the guy that tells everyone what to do if questioned. HE DOESN'T KNOW THE PLAYS if he doesn't know where to line up on the certain two to three plays that he runs.
