Thanks for your effort and service, Chuck. Now heal up and go kick some arse in the NFL.

Sad way to end a career.

I figured thats what happened due to the way he was holding his arm. At least collar bone fractures heal well and usually dont cause lingering problems.

i was unfortunately correct calling it on the scoreboard live right when it happened.
he kinda grabbed towards his collar area right when it happened.
I get no joy in calling it first. :(
Thanks for the memories CHUCK!

yea ive had that injury and knew right away when i saw his arm out front like that. he could be ready in 6 weeks but you never know. if that was his last run it was a hell of a last run.

Hopefully he will be ready to play one last game on New Year's Day, but if not, thanks for the past 4 years, Charles.
Do you think it would be realistic for him to be able to play in something like the Senior Bowl or the East-West Shrine game?

yea id love to see him play one more game, maybe an all star game, i guess it depends on things like if he needs surgery or not. anyone remember how long it took adrian peterson to recover from this similar injury a couple years ago?

Chuck The Truck has been a great Tiger, all heart, class, warrior, true team player, etc..
Here's praying for a solid and speedy recovery, and a NFL career.

Chucks a man. He will have the satisfaction of knowing he went out playing like a warrior. Played the best game of his season today.

Was a great back, hate to hear when anyone gets hurt like that. Scott.

I read his lips when he told him mom right after he came back from the locker room. You could see he said he broke it.

all of this is made worse in my mind because of what a nice guy he is away from the field. one of the nicer and more soft spoken guys I've been around.

Guys a hell of a player and a great tiger. I hope he makes it back this year. Either way, get well and keep kickin arse.
