Y'all do know that Oregon is now primed to take the second spot in the BCSNCG? Them winning in such a big way, while good for our USC hate, is bad for us getting to the big show.

I'm aware that LSU winning out is a tough task, but let's not forget who we're fans of here.

Just sayin.

Are you trying to say LSU would have been better off with USC winning?

Not saying it was. Last night was a lose-lose for us. I'd have liked for the Ducks to win in a not so convincing fashion, but that didn't happen.

LSU needs a quality win over Bama to put them over The Ducks.

I agree, but if we win out, we will be ranked ahead of boise and I think that's the glass ceiling for oregon, they won't rank them ahead of boise. What we REALLY need is a loss by Iowa because I don't see Texas losing, and Cincinnati is gonna lose sooner or later

A one loss LSU team will be ranked ahead of a one loss Oregon team at the end of the season.

But all this discussion may be meaningless after Saturday.

Its lose/lose situation of LSU either way on this game. The good thing about Oregon is that they always lose to some lame team down the stretch. They will do it again this year.

If LSU gets there we get there. Offense is gonna really have to step it up and get their shite together to pull it off. Beat Bama and UF and we will be there. Being realistic its still quite feat to pull off.

Fixed it for you. Oregon's win was @ home. If LSU beats Bama on the road then will be in ood shape "if" we win out.

Also, I think Iowa sealed their fate that they will be behind a 1 loss SEC team with another crappy performance against a below avg Big 10 opponent.

Man the Big 10 is AWFUL!!

I don't think Oregon is that good, they can't throw the ball worth a shite. They will cool off just like they always do.

If both LSU and Oregon run the table...LSU knocks off the number 2 team Bama then wins the SECCG by beating the number 1 team Florida (if they run the table to get there) that would be greater than Oregon's win over USC...

LSU's only loss would be to then number 1 Florida while Oregon's only loss would have come to Boise St.

Kelly is going to face the toughest part of his job with the remainder of the schedule. I think Oregon drops a game down the stretch. We just have to worry about what we can control. If we win out, I still think we make it to the promised land...IF we win out!

Do you have information indicating that a single loss LSU team with a win against Alabama and Florida would be behind Oregon in the BCS poll?

Would the voters have Oregon ahead of LSU in that scenario?

This... Plus a 1 loss SEC champ will make it over 0 loss Big Ten/Big East Champ.

UT is in. Its kind of sad for the TCUs and BSUs bc I really believe they can compete with any team in the nation but they won't play for the NC unless a whole lot of things happen.

No, but the voters did have USC above us, and now Oregon beat them.

Winning out for us should get us in, but a lot of voters will think Oregon is better than us. Just listen to all the sports shows today.

A lot of people are not impressed with the way UF and Bama have been playing recently. For Oregon to blow USC out is a big deal to the voters.

As for UT, Iowa, and Cinci; UT is almost a lock. I don't think Iowa stays undefeated, and Cinci's SOS keeps them out. Basically we need Ohio State to beat Iowa.

If we win out, I think we deserve a shot. But it's not even close to a sure thing.
