I just recently started liking them, and have only seen:

I am Legend
Resident Evil
28 Days Later

What are some good ones? What's the best?

28 Days Later is the best serious one IMO.

I haven't seen Zombieland yet, but Shaun of the Dead is awesome

I guess I'm old school because I still think the original Night of the Living Dead is the best one.

In order to fully appreciate Shaun of the Dead, you have to see Night of the Living Dead...(i.e. "We're coming to get you, Barbara!")

This movie still pisses me off. I saw the movie with great anticipation and had not read the book prior to doing so. I'm a fan of Will Smith and I liked the look of the movie, with the exception of some of the shitty CG stuff like the deer and of course the zombies. But the story never lived up to the look of some of the film for me...and that was BEFORE reading the book and realizing that the only thing the movie had in common with it was the title.

The book is a classic and VERY short. It's a must read, and way better than the movie...and much different.

It's around 60-70 pages long. But they fundamentally changed the meaning of the entire story and the name of the damn book. The phrase "I am legend" basically lost its meaning with the movie's ending

Zombieland - Harrelson and a Cameo from a famous actor were money in this movie

Shaun of the Dead - Beating the zombie to the Queen song and them throwing certain records at the zombies, were Money

Saw this one a couple years ago at a park here in Austin. Robert Rodriguez introduced this and "Torso" as 2 of his favorite horror movies.

Pretty cool. The "shark" scene was really impressive and the "eye" scene makes me cringe.

Dawn of the Dead remake with Sarah Polly and Ving that takes place in the shopping mall is suprisingly good.

Really?

I just finally watched this about a month or so ago, and thought it was fricking terrible.

Agree. Near the beginning of the movie where Shaun is totally oblivious to the news and events around him is one of my favorite movie scenes.
