They wanted to get home in time for the Boise State/Hawaii matchup.

I have a hard time getting pissed when people leave because we are killing somebody.

I would wish they'd like to hang around and sing the Alma Mater in front of Auburn, though.

The weather was perfect, we were playing well, beating the shite out of our arch rival, yet the stands started to empty in the 3ed Quarter to a ghost town at the end. Look around other stadiums, other fan bases just don't bail like we do --- alarming, lazy, and arrogant.

It was a blow out. Why don't our fans stay and enjoy it? What better do they have to do? Perfect night for football, beatdown of sec team, and our awesome fans ont stay and show the team respect.

I would like to see them stick around a little longer, too. But we'll never fix this problem unless LSU improves its gameday efficiency.

You shouldn't have to arrive 8 hours before gametime to actually be able to park ANYWHERE near the stadium.

That's why people leave early. They've been on campus 12 hours by the time it hits 9pm. They're ready to go home.

I'm not a killjoy. I'm not anti-tailgating. I know you all arrive two hours before gametime and park 200 yards from the stadium and have never had a problem, ever. I know I suck.

I'm telling you this is the root of the problem. There are a lot of fans who don't tailgate and just want to get in, watch the game, and get out. And they're getting NO help getting in or out. So, they show up earlier than they want to, and they leave earlier than they want to.

No excuses for leaving in droves -- We play 8 games a year in TS for that leaves 357 days that we don't have it, and about 3 & 1/2 hours each or 28 hours year from a total of 8,760 hours a year. Our fans have become quitters for a hard fighting team that has a chance to go all the way this year.

A lot of fans stayed. Gold seats were pretty empty though.

You know what you should do? You should get people to stand at every portal and make disappointed faces at everyone who leave early.

Oh, and that "shame, shame" finger-wagging thing old people do.

Are you serious? Yes, they do. Pro team fans do this, basketball fans do this, every other college does this. You have to understand that when your team hasn't really been relevant in a while, you're more likely to stay.

When other teams are slaughtering their arch rival, most fans do not rush to the exits like the new Tiger fans -- even in shite weather such as Ann Arbor, Happy Valley, or Madison.

Most - if not all - of their games start at 1pm. Easier to stay all game when your not looking at getting home after midnight.
