NFL Live unanimously says the Saints are the best team. Power rankings have the Saints at the top. Jim Rome says the Saints will win the Super Bowl.

There's something scary about the high expectations. I'd rather everybody be dissing our team as phonies.

this is definitely new territory for us. saints and super bowl used to only pop up together in sentences about what teams have never been there

If you go back to the preseason, besides the last game where the starters sat, then we have won every game by 14 points or more. It's kind of hard to put any other team at the top whenever the saints are the only team in the league thats has not lost yet or won a game by less than 3 points.

Denver, Indy, Minnesota all have games where they have won by less than three points.

It's really sick what this team is doing this year and i hope it continues.

Not when you have a hungry team on a mission that is as talented if not more talented than any other team in the league. The nearly 3 touchdown margin of victory isn't coming via flukes or emotional momentum swings, it's based on plain old domination. It's like watching someone play Madden.

This aint the same saints.
This is a team of consistency.
All the other "good" saints team had major strengths as well as major flaws. Were good all the way around. As long as brees stays healthy of course.

You should. It's not like they're playing "conservative" ball

Superstitions do not matter with this team.

EVERYTHING about this team is completely different this year. I really don't care who doesn't show us any love.. or who has us winning the superbowl.

It really doesn't matter.. The Saints showed a lot coming off a Bye and beating the Giants the way they did.. and the defense has proved a world of a difference on stoping 3rd and long.

Or trailed yet in the scoring...
Or had more guys (since the merger, I think) score a TD in a single game...

Yep, this team is for real. Barring injury to Brees, this is going to continue to be a magical ride.

The season is young for sure, but I am really fricking liking this. We're a balanced team all around with better skill players than anyone else in the league, real life actual LEADERS, a team mentality and two of the best scheming coaches on both sides of the ball.

Saints might be in trouble this week. You know the saying in the NFL a team is never as good or bad as they were the week before. Saints are good but certainly beatable.

Now, that's a profound statement.
Of course they're beatable, every team, at every level is beatable. They have been beatable the last 5 weeks, but that didn't happen.

I don't see where the Saints are in "trouble" this week. They just held the Giants rushing attack to 84 yards. The defense is not suspect in any phase of the game.

Saints 34 Fins 20...for sure.

There's really no pleasing anyone. If we are #2 or lower, ESPN hates the Saints. If we are #1, well...

This. What's wrong with you people? All up in arms when we aren't ranked #1 in power rankings and then scared when we finally are?

First loss and we're nosediving on all those list and rankings, even if it doesn't come until Week 12 or so.
