When Maradona was hired there was a lot of grief that he wouldn't be a good coach and that Argentina could of done better. In the US there are so many sports teams. There is no one true American team that is consistently under the microscope(Sorry Cowboy fans). In Argentina there is -it's the Argentinean national soccer team. He was basically telling everyone who ragged on him, what now?

But he only got them to the World Cup. Let's see what he can do in it.
