Just wondering? LSU have never been afraid at all and even when they were undefeated last year , we gave them all they wanted and then some. Why so fearful?

Because I've watched our offense "perform" like they have for 6 games now?

And I've also seen Bama's defense 3 or 4 times.

That's good enough reason for me to be afraid of Bama.

I think we match up well against Bama...if we can score some points. We can stop their pro-style offense.

Catastrophe syndrome that many LSU fans embrace.

If we don't win them all by 30, we suck.

You mistake fear for realism. Our offense sucks. We will be lucky to score 3 points in Bama. Do you think our defense is good enough to win 3-0? The question is why do you think we have a reasonable chance? Which of our stellar pereformances convicinces you that we will go into Bama and win?

We have no chance. The coaches won't let us have a chance.

I am not afraid of them, just trying to look at it realistically. They are so much better than us on the lines its not funny.

The Bama game is going to be a carbon copy of the game we just saw. We'll be lucky to score at all.

I'm not. I wasn't afraid of Florida either, although I thought we would lose a close one, and we did.

I give our team a punchers chance to upset the Bammers, at least. If we get our offense adjusted, we should beat the crap out of Auburn, and just get by Ole Piss.

LSU has exactly the same chance against Alabama that they did against Florida and these things must occur for LSU to win:

1) LSU MUST WIN the turnover margin by at least 2 or 3]
2) The OL must block better than they have for both the running game and the passing game
3) Jefferson must rollout some and not turn back to the offside of the field
4) The defense just needs to play the way they are playing right now...forcing turnovers for the most part and limiting the big plays

If LSU does 1-4, LSU wins the game. If not, they lose. Oh, and for the wise guys, LSU will score more points which technically wins the game.

Florida's defense is just as good or better than Bama's. Florida's offense is probably just as good, probably better than Bama's. We could have beat Florida so why should we be afraid of Bama? We should have beat them last year, and we threw 2 pick 6's in that game and it still took OT for them to finish us off. LSU can beat anybody.

I am a staunch LSU fan and Nick Saban hater, but he knows how to coach. As much as I hate to say it Alabama is going to be the most humiliating loss of 2009. They are a complete team, one that is good on both sides of the ball and on special teams. They are a better coached team with better athletes. I am not afraid of Bama, I have watched them play and they are a better football team. Their offensive line will punch you in the mouth and run the football down your throat. Our offensive line looks like a bunch of walk ons.

November 7th is going to be a sad day for LSU football because we are going to get routed.

Im not afraid of Bama.
I am aware that Bama is a complete team right now playing great football.

We are not.

It is unlikely to beat Bama this season IMHO.

Bama has a better offense.
Bama has a better defense.
Bama has a better coach.
Bama has homefield advantage.

What here points to LSU winning?
