RS seemed to have ball security issues the few times he got to play.

he's got getting picked up and slammed into the turf issues. we can work around that.

i am saying we need a q.b. that is better at "pocket presents" and can check off of the primary target if need be.

Jefferson is really good at pocket presents.. every sack he takes is a gift to the opponents

I totally agree with this. Tebow is a leader.

Jarrett Lee throws a catchable ball. The problem, the other teams defense has no problem catching them as well.

Its all about leadership.

JJ looks lost right now. I was really pulling for him, but I don't know if he has the "it" factor. The jury is out on that. Great drive @ Washington to seal the game. Great drive @ Georgia before Scott's run sealed the deal. Outside of those particular drives, not a whole lot to hang your hat on.

The real reason Shep is not playing is the fumble against Vandy, and the supposed "fumble" at Georgia where Shep was clearly down. Look at Keiland Williams and see what happens when you put the ball on the ground. Les can be such a hard arse its not even funny.

Everyone fumbles now and then, but RS only had a few carries and he dropped the ball what, 2 or 3 times? I just dont tyhink Miles is comfortable with him out there. (FWIW, I dont agree with this)

Urban Meyer benched his RB for fumbling in 1st Qtr prior to UT game and didn't let him play until 4th qtr of UT game.
I've talked football with Don Shows and,he is the same way. Go ask his opinion on turnovers.

But if they dont hit qbs in practice how will he get used to the contact? Let him make a mistake or two. The thing is that Miles has been patient with every Jefferson or Lee mistake. Why would he be so harsh on arguably the best of the bunch. Whether he fumbles a couple or not, I think overall the good will out weigh the bad.

Heres the other thing. When you have a guy like Shep waiting, They are usually waiting on an upperclassman qb. Someone the coaches have invested years on to make him efficient. Thus, It would not be worth it to get Shep snaps when he will have four years after to take them all. No rush. This is the perfect situation to break him in. No true leader at qb to contend with. No upperclassman. If he surpasses Jeff, then you burned a spring and 6 games with him. Not three seasons. So its not a waste, just got back up some experience.

I'd love to see JJ run it as well. It would keep the DE's a little more honest, and give him some more time to throw. Right now they're just charging up the field without giving any respect to the run.

and yet we can't run the ball either....

Scott fumbles, yet he doesn't ride the pine.

Guys he can't pass! This is a fake video and the rumor about him working with an nfl qb on timing routes is just ridiculous..LINK

oh and on the fumbles; he has 1 fumble when he was hit over the middle by 4 defenders on a pass route. it was his 2nd play. I know me some Shepard. Before you make a judgment on a player, do your research.
