With our current defense, I'd rather have Jarrett Lee

Even if he did throw picks, they are capable of making up for his mistakes. However, the D cannot put enough points on the board to win games. They also are on the field too much, risking injury and fatigue. Holding UF to 13 was great, but we were never really in the game offensively.

Lee scored against UF in :47 seconds before half last year, JJ threw a pick this year. Plus Lee played on the road, JJ was at home. I have confidence that Lee can run a 2-minute offense, none in JJ.

None of our wins this year look impressive now, and our only loss looks pathetic, offensively.

QB play isn't the problem. The problem is the Oline. Funny how everyone wants Lee in now.

funny how some of the posters don't realize that jefferson drops back into the area where Offensive tackles drive their men towards

The OLine has been more than fine these last two days. I expressed the same sentiment earlier.

We had essentially the same personnel now that we had last year. We moved the ball much easier last year. It's either a problem with the quarterback, or the playcalling has drastically changed in one year.

Are you serious? We can't even get a yard when we're on the goal line. Jefferson has 2 seconds to throw, the UF Dline was in the backfield almost immediatley, the 2 or 3 times when Jefferson had time to throw he made good passes.

nah. He held the ball far too long on most of those sacks. Happy feet.

I love Jarrett Lee, and hope he gets to help LSU. How many pick sixes did he have after six games? How many has Jefferson thrown?

I think that he threw two against Fla. alone!

Sir you are dead wrong. The QB has ample time to make decisions last night. He failed miserable to get rid of the ball before the attack was in his face. When you have to wait until a receiver has completed his route to deliver the ball you will ALWAYS have someone in your face.

J. Lee was head and shoulders better than JJ with the timing routes and accuracy. As another poster stated we are simply STUCK at the QB position.

Did anyone else notice that Toliver was breaking inside and Jefferson threw to the outside towards the sideline? From what I could tell, Toliver ran the wrong route, which he has been known to do.

Also, anyone who thinks the oline is not the problem, ask yourselves why the running game is so bad. Lee had a dominating run game at his disposal...with the same personal according to other posters. What happened to our run game?
