Miles / Crowton have trouble using talent. They have never had any type of scheme for using Trindon Holliday and appears they won't know what to do with RS.

Maybe he ain't such a beast.

That is the kind of attitude from the fans that bothers me. It is one thing to respect that Miles knows more about these players than us.
But we are really supposed to believe that the top recruit in the country averaging 6 yards a carry just can't find a place in this offense?
We are just too stacked?

Because Florida would have eaten his lunch and shite on him. Come on, dude. Everyone knows what he's doing when he's out there.

Does a beast get body-slammed more than an WWF wrestler so often...not to mention fumbling way too often? He's a "beast in the making"..but way too weak for more than glimpses right now.

Because LSU only had 33 snaps in the first 3 quarters? And heck, 3 of those were the snaps chucking it up at the end of the half. So, really, there were only 30 snaps, which isn't that many. The offense's failures made it less likely they could mix it up because the offense was always deep in a hole.

Hmmm, could it be that he fumbled once and was ruled to have fumbled another time before being overruled?
Hmmm, could it be that for some reason, LSU has to use more timeouts whenever he goes into the game?
Hmmm, could it be that when you are being whipped along the LOS, that you don't want to throw a TR FR to the wolves?
Nah, it couldn't be any of those!

Not really.
It was in direct response to your post, and followed that train of thought.
Have you seen anything the rest of us hasn't suggesting that RS may not be good enough to play?
Posted on 10/11/09 at 5:41 pm to Volvagia
Because our coach is Les Miles.

So don't play him at QB.
That doesn't mean he can't play.

Please don't use phrases like this.

The same reason RP didn't get meaningful touches until his rs sophomore year.

For whatever reason, THE STAFF decided that RS was not part of the game plan. I think it had everything to do with the realization that:
a. RS is a true freshman
b. UF D is among the best in the country
Just a guess, Vulva.

Les Miles don't trust in Freshman, idk.

We had a pretty good pair of QB's ahead of RP at that point though. That's not the case right now.

Wait a minute. It is obvious from the timeouts and the way RS is looking frustrated/confused that he doesn't have the plays for him down. He is intelligent so he will get them but obviously not yet. Now all of a sudden, you want him to what, do read and run WR patterns down the field? Or maybe you want him to worry about taking a handoff which he didn't do in HS and then have to read blocks after that, etc.
Oh, and other problem that nobody has mentioned. How long do you think this guy is going to last with his build and a lot of touches. He literally has been bodyslammed on tackles twice this season (one in the Georgia game and one much earlier). This guy is being thrown around like a rag doll when tackled.
Correction: geauxjo mentioned my last points earlier.

Interesting.
Then in your infinite wisdom that you feel such a thing is obvious, explain why did Randle get in the game in spite of being junior to RS in terms of experience.
