“I just think we did a great job covering. Their quarterback wants to run the ball a lot and we noticed that. If we got good pressure on them we knew he would want to run the ball a lot, so we knew that we would get a lot of chances to sack him.”

WE ARE NO THREAT TO THROW THE BALL DOWNFIELD. Anybody and everybody will pin their ears back and bull rush JJ knowing he will not stand in the pocket.

He did stand in the Pocket go back a watch the replay there were times he should have tucked the ball and ran.

If that is the case, it will be a long night for JJ in Bryant-Denny.

My friend and I were talking about the Bama game last night.

The way Nicky likes to play it close to the vest, I bet this game is a classic defensive showdown, with Bama winning 9-3.

Absolutely no reason for you to post that in this thread. I responded to your post kindly last night, but this is different. You are being a chest-pounding Gump here. Go back to the SEC Rant where at least we know the Bama flames are coming.

He's right.
Jefferson is easily predictable. The poor kid was lost like a goose when asked to pass from the pocket.

I think it will be a good game, but I think y'all will have to put at least 28 points on the board to have a chance at winning.

Wow, quoting a Florida player and giving it credence. BTW, I think LSU fans and coaches know a little bit more than some Florida player who has played against LSU a grand total of 1 time and seen far fewer LSU plays than any LSU fan has!

JJ can't throw the ball long down the field. He still zeros in on this primary receiver. That tells you there is a problem with our offensive coaches.

He can't stay in the pocket because he's running for his life! Our 5 man front had trouble blocking a 3 man rush!

I'm pretty sure the players watch film and not go into the game having never seen a play

This may be the single dumbest thing I have ever read. A fan has more knowledge than a guy who sat in multiple team meetings, studied film, and actually saw the game plan up close and personal?

I wish there was a "I pity you" emoticon. Because no amount of education can correct this level of dysfunction.

Right. No pocket presence. Seems to have regressed in that area the last two games. Got away with it against UGA but coupled with the penalties and horrible no-call it was too much to overcome against UF. What ever happended to breaking out of the tackle box and throwing out of bounds like he did the first 4 games? JJ's got talent but his decision-making and release are routinely just too slow against the better defenses. Got away from the run too early also. I don't recall one draw play last night after UF started pinning their ears back.

Uhhh. No.

Bama will not score 28 on LSU unless you get some special teams TDs and Pick Sixes.

You forget where you bought Saban from. We know the pattern. Saban WILL use his defense to win the game. He will play it conservatively and win it with your Defense.

Our Defense is set up to stop an offense like yours, and with Patrick Peterson, Julio Jones will be held to a five-catch game.

You guys will win, but you won't score "28" unless we give you a couple of TDs.

All any SEC team needs to beat us is one TD

And with the Fla player quoting it, I'm sure its no secret around the league
