Kiper said that Florida wins if superman plays with his leadership and all he brings to the table. Also said that they can still win in a 10-6 type of game if he doesn't play with guys like Brandon Spikes, Carlos Dunlap, etc on defense.

McShay thinks LSU wins if Tebow does not play, but Florida if he does.

I think LSU has the talent for a shot to take down florida is tebow-less but if florida has tebow they will have to much power for LSU's defense to handle.

Tebow's antics won't decide this game.

Yeah I really don't think that Tebow play/not playing has as much of an impact as the talking heads are making it out to be.

The key match up by far is a below average LSU offense going up against a top 3 D. If LSU is able to move the ball, we will win.

At this point I'll feel better with Brantley in there. Even if Tebow is cleared, he's not going to be able or allowed to run 20 times. So Tebow really won't be able to play like Tebow.

If we have to rely on the QB and our passing game really stepping up, I'll take Brantley and rely on our defense to help him out.

I'm calling this Tebow fiasco a hoax an easy way for an opponents coach to take advantage of a dire situation on his teams part. this is a prime example of how the media totally exploits themselve's fallaciously. they all are!!!

I know everyone is hyping this game up, but we have no pressure on us, I mean LSU. If we lose, big deal, Florida was favored to win. I would say it would be a big deal if it is like last year, but I just don't see that happening. We are 5-0 and haven't played close to what we are capable of. God forbid if we put it together and we will be a force. We still have to beat Auburn, Ole Piss and the Gumps as well as the pigs before we start talking about a rematch with the gators if we do lose. Not saying I hope we lose, but if the game is close and we lose, will not kill our season. We still have everything in front of us and control our own destiny.

Now let's go kick the gaytors arse.

Agree 100%. I do not think he should play. I cannot see him playing and giving less than 100% which means he will run the ball and stick his head in there. He WILL NOT SLIDE in my opinion. I do not want to see another brain injury and think the LSU defense hits very hard. IT IS NOT WORTH THE RISK. But that is just my opinion, of course I have no say in the matter.

Fortunately neither does Tim or the coaching staff. Personally I don't think he's playing and they already know. But there's really no point in announcing it before the game.

I think LSU's OL vs UF DL is the key matchup that determines this game. If LSU can run Scott up the middle with any consistancy they can win IMO. Running outside and Jordon Jefferson's arm won't get it done.

Did I mention I have not been impressed with UF's DL play as yet. Hope they can show some improvement Sat night.

I'm hearing TT plays.

This game is way more about Florida's D against our offense than whether or not Tebow plays.

You could argue that not announcing provides no benefit as LSU would gameplan for both QBs regardless of what's announced or that it really doesn't change how they gameplan that much.

With that said, there's no incentive for us to release that information early. At the very least nothing good can come from it.

You're crazy. Of course he's playing. But his intro is going to be very WWE-like.

UF will take the field w/o a qb and everyone will be fixed on them when suddenly......

BOOM!!! Pyro in blue and orange sparks starts going off!! People are looking around in bewilderment! No one knows what is happening and then...the music starts...

Gary Danielson : "That's Tebow's music! That's Tim Tebow's music! My God! He's here! Tim Tebow is here!!"

And then a spotlight fixes on a place in the UF section and a band member stands, throws off his uniform, and its Tebow! The UF crowd goes wild! The CBS announcers goo themselves! The nation watches in awe as Tebow begins to stride down the steps towards the field....

And then he gets "tripped" by an LSU fan, tumbles to the bottom of the stairs, and re-injures himself and is out for the game. They pan the crowd to find the "culprit" and see Steve Spurrier in an LSU polo and visor....grinning into the camera....

That's ridiculous.
