That being said, I will set up camp a little earlier than usual this week for obvious reasons. I have everything in the grass and out of everyone's way.

Smart man right here.

I have a pass in lot C and usually set up my tents and tables on Friday afternoon in the same location every time. Most folks in our area near the bathroom have been there for years and we all respect each other's spaces for the most part. That being said, I will set up camp a little earlier than usual this week for obvious reasons. I have everything in the grass and out of everyone's way.

That's what I do to, usually at 4:30 and it has worked out and never had probelms. What time will you be setting up tomorrow?

I see where you're coming from...but if the person is lazy and decides to sleep in until 11:00, he shouldn't be surprised that his tent frame was moved.

I'm not upset. I am however sick of attitudes like yours. You just explain to me how a piece of campus is somehow your for 7-8 Saturdays and I'll except it.

I mean really. If you move his tent over 10 ft in a nice way without beating it all up to hell and then help him set his stuff up when he wakes his lazy arse up, then what's the big deal?

Sounds like someone that would be upset that his tent was moved a few feet cause he showed up late to the party would be someone I wouldn't want to tailgate next to.

then this new guy shouldn't be upset about moving over 10 feet or so.

Or maybe you shouldn't be upset about having to move 10 feet for one day.

Please link me to the tent frame reserve rule in the LSU tailgating policies and I'll admit I was wrong.

Like I said in a previous post, I don't condone getting out there that late. Even so, moving someone's tent that put it out before you is not cool. I wouldn't be surprised if my tent was moved at that time, but I'd have a word with who moved it anyway. It's called respect.

I'm not upset. I got there early. I wouldn't have to move.

I plan to set things up between 2 and 3 Friday afternoon for a couple of reasons. One is to insure that I get my customary spot and the second is because the traffic around 5 is really going to suck. I have set up that early before and have never had any problems with being told I'm there too early.

OHHHHH. I see. You can demand things from me but I can't demand things from you?

Now I see where your attitude comes from.

LNCHBOX<---not a guy I want to tailgate by.

I agree somewhat, but you lose respect in my book if you show up late and then want to have words.

Now if I show up at 8:00 and move your tent, and you show up an hour later...dick move on my part.

If you want to claim a spot, set your stuff up friday afternoon, then get your butt out there early saturday morning.

OK, you answer mine, then I'll answer yours. That's fair since I asked first.

I'll even help you out. I think you're realizing there is no good justification for the way you think, but you're entirely to stubborn to admit it. Actually it makes a lot of sense considering you're a ULL fan.

And I'm glad you wouldn't want to be by me tailgating. I don't tailgate with assholes.

I didn't mean confrontational words. I should have added that part. Other than that, I agree with you completely.

Well MR. Lunch, I never said that I owned that piece of campus, but since this gentleman setting up his tent frame is the maximum amount of effort he is willing to put into tailgating until 11:00, then I see no problem with nicely moving his frame to the side. Lazy if you ask me.

In other words: I don't own that piece of campus. Never said I did. Early bird catches the worm. Not the early tent frame.

Now, link me to the tent frame policy please.

So the early bird from Friday gets his stuff moved on Saturday? Again, notice that I also have a problem with someone getting there that late. If you move my tent at 8, and I get there at 8:10, you really think you can move my tent and that's OK?

lsu might look into the policy that a lot of cities use for mardi gras parades. mapping the sites and selling rights to them.
