I find this season to have a lot of simmilarities with the 07 season. It was a common perception in the "press"that LSU won many games that season with a lot of luck. It was said often that Les was lucky and not a good coach. Trick plays , gambling on many 4th downs that all went our way . Had they not we could have lost a few games we won. Florida and Auburn come to mind most. We could have been a 4 loss team that year.
All you hear on ESPN and the print media is LSU has not been very impressive this year and is over rated. I will be the first to admit we have not been the most impressive team but we did find ways to win. This team seems to get better each game. I think we have a great chance to beat Florida this weekend .I only hope if we win there are no questionable calls to feed the press "ESPN" more ammunition to trash LSU till the next game.

Florida's much better this time around and LSU's not as good. So I don't know.

So far I see more similarities with last year. We thought we were the shite after that Auburn game. Undefeated going to UF. Boy did that season suck. Let the next 3 SEC games play out before we start using the term "this season" as if it actually resembles a full body of work. Who knows, UGA could tank it and not make a bowl like AU last year and then how good would that win look?

Last year we had a blowout win in the first four games, so you really can't compare this year to last year either. But we don't lose 5 games this year, at the very most, we lose 3.

Not so fast my friend. If we havent learned a thing from last year it's let the season play out. You would have laughed at yourself last year after the Auburn game if you said we'd lose five and have to come back from 30 behind to Troy. ANYTHING can happen, just as much as we can go undefeated we can still lose 5 games.

Wrong..

As far as dejavu is concerned.. It reminds me a lot of Florida's championship '06 team..
They only beat 3 SEC teams by 10 or more. Highest margin of victory was 19 against Kentucky
They also had a 6 point win against Vanderbilt and a 1 point win against South Carolina

All this - a ten point win in the SEC Championship and then a blowout of OSU..

Scores don't mean a damn thing.. It's the W-L column..
