Interesting statistics on Miles record and other LSU stats.

The following is in Fridays' ADVOCATE newspaper.
Miles record at LSU is 46-11, making him the fastest coach in program history to that victory total. He is two victories behind Nick Saban who had a 48-16 record at LSU.
Since 2001, LSU has the most wins of any SEC school. They are 86-22 with Georgia being a close second at 85-23.
Saturday's game will be LSU's 58th as a top-10 ranked team since 2002. The Tigers are 47-10 in those games this decade, with wins this season over ULL and MOO State. LSU was 4-1 as a top-10 team last season.
Only 7 LSU players had been born the last time the Tigers won "between the hedges" (10-10-87).
Fourth ranked LSU is the highest ranked team the Bulldogs have played in Athens since 1995 when No. 3 Florida came to town for a rare visit because the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville, Fla; was under construction.
Mark Richt has never lost to Les Miles. Georgia is the only school in the SEC that Miles hasn't ever beaten.
This game will be televised by CBS. LSU lost all five of its games that were shown by CBS last season. The Tigers' last victory on the network was a 21-14 decision over Tennessee in the 2007 SEC Champ. Game.

Most significant one right now....lets hope that changes by Saturday!

Some people just can't appreciate the best run of years of LSU football ever. It may never happen again in many of our lifetimes. It's numbers like this that proves that this is as good as it gets for LSU football, yet some still can't enjoy it because they don't think it's good enough.

Or perhaps I dreamed all this.

That's cause their fear of tomorrow is greater than their pleasure of today.
Like anything we say will impact Saturday.
I would rather enjoy the moment than lose my water over something that may or may not happen, but each to our own.

How fast is he? Anybody know his 40 time? And how are his calves?

Did we win. If we did, then it was a dream. If not, then the quote is correct.

Pretty sure that was an L. Also, on the two point conversion if I remember correctly Booty had an open receiver in the end zone but instead chose to dive for the goal line trying to be the hero himself and got stopped short.

My bad, I misread the stat.

Actually it might have been Alabama where Booty dove for the score on a bootleg with an open receiver when we were down 6 and the clock ran out. I believe you are correct Booty threw the 2 pt conversion attempt against UGA. In any case I remember Booty had us so close to several wins that year only to let us down so close to victories.

Some people want to do what it takes to stay on top. Complacency is the hobgoblin of little minds.

It says the last time we won between the hedges was 1987. We lost that game in 1999 with Booty throwing across field to a wide open Tommy Banks, only to have the LB knock the ball away.
