If all his kickoffs start going past the end zone into the stands ... that would be suspicious.

Not sure if there's a stipulation against cutting him while on probabtion but if there's not, wouldn't you think they would have cut him by now to make room for someonelse? I think he'll be around.

What would be the point? He doesnt warrant a Roster spot while suspended. And if Carney wasnt getting the job done, they would have him in their back pocket. So no they wouldnt cut him during the suspension.

Ook....I didn't realize his suspension takes off of a roster spot. Thought he was still counted as part of the 53 man roster

Shockey and Hartley need to leave that miserable ghetto of New Orleans and get somewhere closer to Oklahoma...perhaps Kansas City.

so your whole logic is because they are both illegal, he will end up doing it? will he also be on X, heroin, meth, pcp, and all the other illegal substances. because you know its like pringles, once you pop you cant stop right?

Not really. My whole logic is that it shows he is mentally weak. So a friend goes up to him and says "hey man, take this pill, it will keep you awake and focused." So he just takes it? How does he even know what it is for sure. Just takes a random pill. It shows he has terrible decision making skills and it also shows he is mentally weak because he resorted to taking pills. Because kicking is generally described as such a mental act, its pretty disturbing knowing our kicker is that mentally fragile. So now if he misses a kick, for all we know he will never recover. For all we know he will take some "harmless" pills to fix it. For all we know he will give pills to other players to help them out.

wow. i dont even know where to start. first of all, are you sure thats how it went down? his friend just walked up and said "here" and he took it? that sounds like the best reenactment ive ever heard of. you are fricking dumb.
does this mean smith and grant are also mentally weak and will somehow cause the down fall of the entire team as you are suggesting hartley is capable of? because you know, they also took banned substances. that deuce character was pretty mentally weak too right?

No im not, but how do any of you know. All ive heard from this board is a friend gave it to him and how harmless it is.

yes it does.

1) Im not suggesting it will be the downfall of the entire team so you are exaggerating what I said.
2) Their positions arent as mental so it isnt as much of an issue when it comes to their play.
3) And you know what, if you have a lockerroom full of people taking pills, it could lead to a downfall so you make a good point.

sounds like the downfall of the team. and if you honestly believe the coaches would allow a "locker room of players taking pills" you really are stupid.

by the way, adderall is pretty harmless. it makes you stay awake and focused. he didnt take meth dude. chill.

or a couple players and have it hurt the team. not completely destroy them.

Yea, because the coaches are so good already at monitoring what the players are taking

and its still and illegal substance in the nfl.
